I agree with golds statement in the introduction of the FAQ. I think background noise in online party chat is extremely disrespectful. Practically the entirety of the Destiny community that raids and other games has dealt with background noise BS from another player at least once. I personally speaking have dealt with this shit elsewhere such as online meetings. When the instructor is giving instructions and all I hear in the background is someone who left their mic un-muted and is constantly breathing, chewing, or family members in the background making constant noise -This just makes me wanna go though the screen and take their microphone and smash it against their desk same goes for online party chat. Also, for the people that wanna argue “why is having background noise a form of disrespect?”. I’ll use the online call example. When myself and others are trying to take in valuable information and actually learn / focus and all I hear is chewing in the background, you would be affecting myself and others ability to learn (in a raid you would be affecting ones ability to focus). That is a form of impoliteness, which in the end is disrespect. Also, not to mention it’s upright disgusting / annoying as shit. I fully understand if something urgent comes up IRL. I always say the IRL issues are more important. However, if you join a raid party chat knowing in the back of your head that there will be background noise and your brother / other people will be making constant noise then don’t join at all. There's a few ways. If you were referring to my comment towards the end of the video then I was referring to how I run Titan Thundercrash so I can super from 1st to 2nd encounter and pull as quickly as possible. You can speed up second encounter in a few different ways. Ads spawn in waves and each round of ad spawns/angelics has a static timer (except for the last one before middle opens for some reason) but will also end when EVERY ad that has spawned for the wave has been cleared out. So the faster you clear everything out, the sooner the next round starts. You should also be obtaining enlightened buff at the start of each round (when Defenses Subsided indicator comes up with the sound indicator) so you don't run out of enlightened buff halfway through the round and can clear everything out as quickly as possible. I also pre-position myself for second spawn of ads in a phase (second spawn will always be one over to the right of first spawn) so I can spawn kill and shift over to another area that is clearing out ads slower. Also at the very beginning where we split off 2-2-2 we will hold a shielded ad at plate 4 to prevent the round from ending while we finish opening plate 3 saving an entire extra round of ad spawns due to the fact that the first of the 4 angelic waves will begin on the start of the round directly following when every area has been opened and all portals are active. So after opening the last area, we tell the person at 4 to kill the last shielded ad and angelic rounds will start immediately. That enough?
