- I just got my hands on WWE 2K22 and I am playing my FIRST match gameplay! Cameron Grimes faces Rey Mysterio Jr from 1996 on the WCW Monday Nitro arena! Lots of new videos coming up on WWE 2K22 as I have been waiting for a new game for a while.

This guy is tripping bro… there’s not a large variety of arenas and the hair mechanics are still fucked up on some wrestlers and may I ad that there is still clipping with titles going through the wrestlers gear and some of the titles look big as fuck around some of the wrestlers waist

The game is a vast improvement in almost every way to basically every WWE2K game prior! The only exception is the combos can be taken out, they belong in Tekken not a wrestling game! lol

Happy to hear some love for 99 2000s WCW. Even though it was bat shit crazy around that time, I did like the aesthetic of it. The big silver WCW entrance way the spiky font logo. Wish I saw more of that in game.

I enjoy the arcade style a lot more then simulation it’s more action packed and fast paced it’s like watching a junior heavyweight match on classic IWGP

@@MainEventMarvinTyler I hated it for the first few matches but after about 4 matches, I got the hang of it and it’s fantastic. It felt really Arcade-ish at first but now I’m finding my footing, it’s brilliant!!
@@Shot4ShotPhoto it's really a good mix of arcade and realism. From footage it thought it would be more limited but it's still got lots of depth and you can still do a heap of moves!

WWE arenas are ass now, the fact that the Hell in a Cell arena is the same as the Main Event arena with different LEDs is wrong. They should go back to having actual sets

I pre-order 2K22 and got the NWO 4 Life edition. When I told people that I was hyped for this game because I grew up playing these games as well all the haters started to reply back and said some pretty ignorant things. The worst wrestling game I've ever played would be 2K20. To say that game was a straight dumpster 🔥 would be an insult to the dumpster. Now for 2K22 AND TO SILENCE THE HATERS.....like I said before, I was hyped and had high hopes for this game and THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! The gameplay itself is very fluid and the graphics are very detailed and the absolute best I've ever seen in a wrestling game and definitely pushes my Xbox Series X to the limit without get hot! I played Showcase mode last night and I was pleasantly surprised. The attention to detail is ridiculous. I'll just give one example
since the game just came out and I don't want to spoil everything you might see. During the Eddie Guerrero tribute show when Rey went one on one with Shawn Michael's, both competitors were wearing the black E G band on their arms. They said that it would "Hit Different" and THEY WEREN'T LYING!!!
Just ignore the haters they love to hate on everything 2k22 is fun don't listen to them get the game and enjoy it
@@donellmason9976 I downloaded last night at midnight and have gotten like 2 hours of sleep. It's a damn good thing that I'm off work today and tomorrow lol. Your absolutely right though....people are going to hate no matter how good it is because unfortunately some people are miserable human beings and misery loves company so they project their negative energy towards others. 2K20 was terrible and the developers apologized for it. Then 2K promised the fans that they would deliver an amazing wrestling game in 2022. They didn't disappoint....although the game is AMAZING, it really makes you wonder how bad WWE is struggling financially because of all of the cut backs. Releasing Bray Wyatt and his Fiend gimmick (which was the best gimmick in years) was a complete shock to us all. Vince needs to let go of the wheel and let someone else take control. Unfortunately Vince has final say over EVERYTHING in WWE and the fact that he is "out of touch" so to speak definitely shows. He's looking to the past to put asses in the seats. I respect ALL the of the Legends from yesteryear but bringing them back and having Goldberg do two spears and a Jackhammer ending the match is a prime example of that. There is SO MUCH talent in that locker room that is being slept on and a prime example of that would have to be Ricochet. Sorry for ranting but it's really frustrating to see stuff like this go on in a company that I've been watching since the 80's. I've said it once and I'll say it again. VINCE, I HOPE YOU READ THIS LAST LINE AND ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING FROM IT!!!

I'm always disappointed that they don't add ECW arenas the last ECW arena in the 2K games was in 2K16 which is almost 7 years ago
I really wanted to see Pulse use the Cave In I want to see how it looks now. Either way this all looks cool
WWE 2K14 had my favorite graphics but this game really good.
You and Denks are the only opinions I really trust
I gotta give it to 2K when it comes to the lighting, in certain angles it looks real. I also don't mind the arcadiness but the exectution leaves a lot to be desired, it looks like they just accelerated the animation speed for the moves and some of the moves don't look like they're meant to be sped up like that. Also, for me, the HD models moving around clunkily with the arcade style of animation is kind of off-putting.
Your last sentence is my main gripe and why I'm not getting it.
@@theloosecannon135 I guess we're in the minority man, I watched a couple of videos from youtubers on 2K and no one mentions this. They had 2 years, and comparing this game to other yearly releases, look at NBA 2K, FIFA games, while not really good games, they manage to make the animations so fluid, you sometimes forget you saw the same animation a couple of times.Yet in WWE games It really feels like PS2 level jank and movement with detailed models.
@@CowboyPete Maybe I'm crazy, but Fifa especially and NBA 2K are not fluid, maybe the animations are, but it feels janky and takes the fun out of it. I understand the complaints, but I feel like there are better examples out there, old or new.
@@AbsoleteAim Sure, I haven't played them in a while to be honest, but I remember just bumping into other players, moving past them, dribbling and so forth and most of it felt smooth, but I might be overrating it. Also, like you said there are definitely better examples, those were just off the top of my head.

pulse it's the lighting in the arena that's why the title looks dark, if you watched the ringside reports they tell you that they rescanned all the championship belts.
The fact Rey kicked out of the finisher is one reason why I tend to go through the list and remove resiiency. I know fake finishes are a big part of wrestling now, but I dislike having to hit 2 finishes to win a match
