Hey Boss, I'm having trouble getting up on (22' Omni W,67, 200 lbs) standard settings . Can I move the bindings and which direction? Tried calling and your website ...thanks

So this can be tricky, Deep starts are an incredibly technical part of skiing with a ton of moving parts. I believe the 67W is one of the widest 'course' skis out there for being a 67 so you have the right equipment if you're looking to rip once you get out. In Terms of binding move, maybe going forwards is going to allow you an easier move forwards but this would be up for experimentation on your end. Try moving forwards, if better then winner, if gets worse, go back and see if anything improves. I would say a large part of the struggle is due to the technical aspect. Try finding a coach near you or online coach (myself or many others) to see if there are any problems there. Not assuming anything but some common problems are extending with the legs too early, leaning away too much when the pull comes on or just generally not being patient and allowing the boat to do the work. I hope this helps!

Nice job Rob! I just tried a new ski last night and stock settings weren’t working for me.
Ski breaks underfoot after the pull out.
Does not cast out in the pre-turn. Tends to decelerate and run narrow. Pitches me forward out of the turn (wing is only 7 degrees so I don’t think it’s the wing).
I suspect that’s all indicating I need to move the boots forward?

What ski are you trying here? I would guess the opposite direction, off that description but very hard to say without more info.

@@RobHazelwoodthanks for getting back to me. It’s a Denali and you are correct, I reached out to them and got the settings for my height and weight. Much much better but I’m still getting broken over out of the turn on both sides, what would cause that?

@@jeidmann I have never had any experience with Denalis. They have a fairly different skiing theory to most other skis so you're better listening to what they have to say unless I can see you in person!
