There’s probably no payment except the application fee. Most often after getting the admission letter, you will receive details like this.
Secondly the actual 12 social income must be sitting in that account? What if the person is working and it’s from their job monthly salary that they’re able to send the money when you’re already in Luxembourg? Is that possible or are there any other ways?
The money has to be in your account.

Hello, so i want to ask this, when applying for a study visa is there something like a Statement of Purpose you will be writing?
When applying for a study visa, for some countries you might be asked to write a letter of intent, but so far, I do not think this is required for a Luxembourg visa.
A statement of motivation will be required to get admission into the University of Luxembourg or any university.
Please can you have more than one guardian ? ( Like my uncle and a friend) and must the money be sitting in their bank (like if they’re still working) and please what bank loan?
The money must be in your account. For the number of guardians, I am not certain. I would assume one, but I want to believe, two persons should be acceptable.
Secondly, almost all the courses at the University of Luxembourg have 180ECTS, but here in Nigeria, it's usually 120ECTS. I hope that won't deter my chances of getting admitted?
I do not think that is a problem.

Yes, travel/health insurance is usually required while applying for a visa or to go abroad generally. You could try Allianz or AXA mansard to find out more information.

Hello, I believe you still need a study visa since you will be staying in Luxembourg for more than 90 days. Find out if there is a Luxembourg embassy in the country you are staying in at the moment and be sure you’re eligible to apply there. You could check neighboring countries in the EU too. You might not need to go to Nigeria, but please be sure to make your findings. You can send an email to the immigration office too to explain your case. Cheers.

From my experience, most universities take about 8 weeks to give feedback or even less after submitting your application with the correct documents. And you can monitor the status of your admission from the application portal.

It depends on your level of programme. If you are applying for a master's, then it is a bachelor's. And you should not worry about this now as information will be provided by the institution after your admission.

Hello ma, thank you for your kind feedback. As far as I know there is no age limit for application to the university. As long as you can put in a strong application and justify why you want to pursue another BSc degree if they ask you. Then I think it’s fine. Maybe a masters degree in a similar field might be better.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. This is a bit tricky. Regardless of where the money is, you should be able to explain the source. If the person is not a relative, it might be hard to explain the relationship except you have strong proof and a reference letter to support it.

Hello, you might not need IELTS, but to be sure, check the requirements of the programme and reach out to the school that you have a background where you were taught in English if they are asking for IELTS. It could be waived sometimes.

This is only required after you have been accepted to the school.
In addition, proof of English proficiency is required at the time of application for admission. If you are a Nigerian, you can provide a letter from your undergraduate institution. But, also note that some courses might have special requirements, so do well to check the programme page and also confirm from the university by sending an email.

Most likely, yes. But most often, you would have been asked to upload this. But to be on the safe side, have the hard copy when going for your physical visa appointment.
However can we go with a 6 month statement rather than 12months statement
If it is your personal account, it is stated that you can use a six-month statement, but if it is a sponsor, then you need a year.

Hello, thank you for your kind words. To answer your questions:
1. Usually, it is advisable to use academic referees. In case you are asked to provide more than one, you could use a work referee, too, as long as the individual can provide a very good reference for you.
2. While applying for admission online, you can use your student transcript. But when you have to send it by post later on, the university will inform you on how to do that and what type is required.
3. I answered this as the first question.
4. I believe reputable companies that provide travel-health insurance to Schengen areas would do.

I actually did French in my junior secondary school. Do you mean the letter of admission? I'm sorry to hear that. If you were refused admission, there should be an opportunity to appeal. You might want to try that.
Good job guys, pls is there any logical way around proof of fund aside using your parents/self as sponsor most especially for people from humble back ground struggling for this kind of opportunity.

Also, you can consider getting loan from a family or friend or anyone who is willing to help you, but you might need to explain how you are going to pay off.

Hi, if you are staying in a Schengen state, I think you still have to apply for a study visa because you will be staying in Luxembourg for over 90 days. The same requirements should be met too, but you might need to find out the modalities for the visa appointment in the country you will be applying from. You might not need to apply from a Belgium embassy like those in Nigeria would.

In the admit letter the monthly expected expense is 1700 so for 1 year, 12 months *1700 = 20400 Euros
But in the embassy website it is mentioned 80 % of 1201 {social inclusion income} = 960 euro
12*960 = 11520 euro

Do you mean your degree certificate? Application for admission and upload of documents is online, but the application for authorisation to stay is via post.

I mean the closing balance for each month
Not at all. What matters is the closing balance at the time of your visa application and maybe three months or more before then. The money should be in the account for some months before the visa. And most importantly, you should be able to explain the source of the income.
