BJP Sweeps Delhi: Modi Muscle On Ground Display, Lotus Blooms After 27 Years | India Today Debate

The BJP won a decisive victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, defeating the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and securing 48 seats compared to AAP's 22. Prime Minister Modi called it a 'historic win' that frees Delhi from a 'decade of disaster'. Despite a close vote share of 47% vs 44%, the BJP managed to win several seats with narrow margins. The AAP lost 40 seats compared to the previous election and many of its traditional strongholds, winning only 10 out of 26 seats it had won in the last three elections.
