Atlus saying this is probably the best day of League of Legends Zeka has ever had is just ridiculous. Almost on the level of Doublelift saying that Knight will cherish the moment he beat Faker for the rest of his life earlier this year. Zeka is a world champion, put some respect on the mans name.
Zeka literally had only one big achievement and was almost irrelevant before and after worlds. Literally no one ever believed DRX would win worlds. Now HLE happens to win against T1 in a non-decisive match and Atlus can't say Zeka had one of the best performances ever? This was EXACTLY one of Zeka's best performances.
Stop comparing these two completely different contexts to support your narrative.

@@vicvallery120 Kkoma scouted him. Zeka is smurfing since start of his career. He played great and way beyond his ceilling team alongside with WeiWei back to VCA days, forming dynamic duo. After on BLG he made his mark on regular top 5-6 LPL mid names and came to DRX where he hold the roster on his shoulders during entire year with Deft then taking over completely regional qualifiers to the end of Worlds 2022. On 2023, still improve and won summer Player of the split, just that. And that year, he became consistent as hell and aldready trashed down your Goat 3-0 2 times this season, not including also some convincing Bo3 victories. Try to learn history before talking.

I don't like peanut but he showed everyone and especially oner how to play Vi, also HLE's team comps are so much easy to follow Vi's CC. T1 played Vi with Olaf and Nasus. They really deserved that loss. Even smolder looks balanced in the hands of faker and ziggs also looks balanced in the hands of guma. With that form, T1 doesn't deserve a spot at worlds. I know Faker will get the most criticism because he's the biggest name, but the whole series was a huge bot diff.

Zeka Yone was a bit too much for T1.
It's time for Faker to step down at the end of the season.
It's not sustainable anymore for a team like T1 to have a player who basically has to sit on Azir duty to be even with enemy mid laner, otherwise he gets outperformed almost every game.
Faker is the only reason T1 is sustainable, from a financial perspective at least. He’s also the reason why the LCK is still able to stay afloat despite having horrible financials heading into 2024. LCK and T1 will do their utmost to keep Faker in the league as long as possible until sponsors and fans find a replacement, which doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the horizon.
On a related note, 10/10 times any team would select Faker over Chovy and Zeka for this reason alone. Even if the coaches are against it, there’s no way admin would give up the opportunity.
This is probably a good lesson for young people stating their careers. Make yourself indispensable so that even when you’re struggling, you’re still a desirable candidate.

Agree. When Tom was the Coach he was outdrafting every team at Worlds. Despite T1 being worse than they used to be in the years before that he won worlds with them. Now that T1 has Kkoma back they are used to drafting like garbage.

I have said this before... But Oner is a Pain in the ass... I know Faker didn't play well this split, neither Zeus, but Oner is been likethis during all year long. If only T1 had a better jungler im sure results would be so different. Personally i like Peanut, a jungler who is always in the right time, right place, just look at this match. He was ALWAYS there, he won 50/50 he cares about jungle, Oner was always behind, always going alone without no one following, so different comapred to when Peanut decided to do something.
