An easy option so for renewable resin: Creaking heart place over dripstone creates resin clumps on the block below. EDIT: And Joel comes with the follow up 7 minutes later. Nice.
I like the idea of using the resin on leaves as oranges or peaches in an orchard. I would love to see more of these layered textures in various colors. These conversations today definitely made me consider my wall depth in future builds.
I'm only at 42:45 So apologies if this is already covered later. Once you've hit the creaking and created a bunch of resin on a tree you can then knock that resin off and use that same tree to create more resin. It is renewable that way and it's harvestable infinitely as far as I can tell. There's a couple UA-camrs who have put out tutorials already for resin farms which are insane Edit: I also wanted to add that you could move the creaking heart to a more convenient location and set it up so that you can whack at the creaking and harvest resin all while looking at it.
Maybe if bees interact with the new flower, they could produce a modified honeycomb. Perhaps the flower opening/closing technique could yield a more nuisance daylight sensor. Definitely, the bricks' color needs adjusted. Considering that they have been smelted, they should be darker in spots. And as Joel suggested, adding blue could help.
34:30 Good luck finding one, because the devs decided to put the lowest weight for them. Encounters have a weight of 1, while each battle chamber has a weight of 150. In combination with the fact that encounters are bigger than normal hallways, and therefore require more space to meet the generation requirements, you'll have to search through 4-5 trial chambers structures to find at least one.
I’m almost finished listening to the audio version, but I had to add that the title is brilliant!
"Thanks for visiting The Spawn Chunks; the world outside is infinite, and the hills have eyeblossoms." I love this signoff.

Tuff bricks (and variants) were actually added at the same time as regular tuff slabs, stairs, and walls - 1.21(.0).
What I meant was that tuff blocks were in the game a long time (1.18) before any variants were available.
@@JoelDugganVODs Not to nitpick, but Tuff blocks were added in 1.17 (Caves & Cliffs part 1).
1.18 didn't add any new blocks that I'm aware of.
For me the creakings new animations reminded me of Japanese horror and I really love it
