I just got back from watching Jim Brickman's Valentine's Day concert in Nashville, TN. I have never heard of Mark Masri until that night. When he sang Caruso I was also totally blown away. Some in the crowd even gave him a standing ovation. He definitely caught my attention. I look forward to listening to more of his performances.

Beautiful... I've read some comments here about how he lacks technique. One thing people forget... the majority of us listen to music because of the beauty of the sound, not for the techniques. Mark Masri wins in terms of aural appeal and beauty.
I'm in agreement with "domingotenor" (Domingo is my champion as well, even though I'm a baritone) Masri has a limited range and is not a classically trained tenor...there is a difference! For people that "know" singing in one's head voice as a tenor, only goes so far. I detest hearing ad copy that "Masri is one of Canada's greatest tenors"...sadly he doesn't even enter the race!
