Daryl Dixon: A man who has every reason to be bitter and angry at the world. A man who could have been a copy of his father, of his brother, turned into someone comparable to a God damned angel (those angel wings on his vest are there for good reason). This character has such soul, has so much humanity and emotion, so much raw feeling, that it physically pains me to see him hurt. Dear Lord, I wish I could hug him and tell him how stupidly wonderful he is. In addition, bless the actor who brings all that emotion and humanity to this character (love you, Norm). The show would not be the same without him.

Daryl had such a wonderful development. Can't quite remember the name of the character who told him "You act like you don't care" to which he replied "Yeah, it's 'cause I don't." But he sure as hell does. It's like he's been taught all his life that his feelings/opinions don't matter, so he acts like he doesn't, and bottle it up. I love him so damn much and he's become a character so many of us have grown attached to. Kudos to Norman Reedus for his wondeful work.

Better Call Saul Agreed. He is in such a dark place right now. He always had the potential of being very impulsive and dangerous to anyone threatening his family yet continued to have some consideration and empathy but right now he is stone cold. I hate it when he and Rick are at odds also. They have been so important to each other. Makes me sad.

Daryl was so vulnerable in a new environment that was too much like the world that always rejected him before. One that the rest of his family were so comfortable in and it seemed like he was on the outside looking in again. When Aaron (and Eric!) reach out to him and make him a friend, I was so grateful. When Aaron asks him to work with him it just about broke my heart. Daryl's gratitude at being found worthy and being given a place...yeesh. And typical Daryl, not thank you but "I'll get you some rabbits" LOL. Daryl awkward and gruff...but there! Norman Reedus brilliant as usual. His minimalist approach serves perfectly in the role. Anyone who is a fan of Daryl Dixon has to give a lot of the thanks to Norman Reedus. The Daryl we know and love wouldn't exist if it weren't for N.R.'s brilliant audition and his 1st season interpretation of the character on which the writer's have based the continuing character on. Thanks Norman. :-)

it really took me awhile to warm up to Daryl, he was such a wild thing, but when he went looking fort Sophia and got shot and was so helpful to the group and became Ricks right hand man , I came to like him. I hope he seriously puts a hurt on Negan and his men. Great video!!!

He's been a leader, all along... first, he led with his actions and later, through the lessons he'd learned from the few he was closest to and trusted most. I've loved the character since the beginning... he's the one I most associate with. Again, loved the video!
I know they were probably joking about the whole "Korean" and "China" thing, but I think it showed real progression for Daryl that he cared enough to elaborate and even correct his brother.
Daryl hasn't had a meaningful and romantic relationship yet. He might well die without that. This clip illustrates why that won't be fair but this world (and for sure that world) isn't. I'll die inside. As if he was my own child. Because he really is an innocent in so many ways. I hate and love this show.

He gives himself fully to their well being which makes what happened to Glenn so agonizing. I get so frustrated on the people who were so hating on him for it. No one could possibly blame him more than he does. Such a beautiful character.
I couldn't agree more and it would be the most unjust death if it happens before his character finds some kind of redemption. I want Daryl one of the last men standing, as Beth called him. He deserves it, because he is the kind of man that seeps through the cracks of life since birth, and in Daryl's case, life became better when everyone else's became hell. He was abused and neglected until he found the GROUP of people that became his odd-like family, after the virus and we also see that Merle, WHO did succumb to his life of hardship get his redemption at the end, and sacrifices himself for his brother and the people he calls family. Daryl is a character beautifully and deeply written and still crossing fingers to at least have a significant other until this path of the Human race comes to an end. I'd like that, because having him so devoid of Human feelings and any romantic Connection is the only aspect that makes him rather unreal. (I;d say inhuman if I didn;t consider that Word too strong for a man like D.D.)

I want the first 3 seasons Daryl back. Lighter and short hair and not the too dark dyed and too Long haired Daryl. I want to see his facial expressions. His facial expressions are now behind his filthy too long and too dark dyed hair. I love Carol telling him at the farm, that he's as good as them (Rick and Shane), every bit. He felt otherwise. That's why he loves Carol so much as a friend/family member. She respected him since the start. She saw who he realy was, nothing like his brother Merle. Carol loves Daryl, he cared, gave her that flower in S2 and told her the story behind it. Daryl always felt like out cast, but Carol convinced him that he was as good as them. Loved that. Daryl changed, became open to the others and felt that he realy fitted in with this group of survivers in S3. Rick started to trust him and his opinion. Thanks to Carol.

Daryl's relationship with his brother is so painful. Like Aaron said - he knows the difference between a good person and a bad person. And he knew his brother was a bad person and he struggled with it. He struggled with being loyal to his brother who although is family - emotionally abused him and encouraged him into bad habits - or being loyal to the group that took him in and treated him right. I always wonder how his character would be different if Merle were still alive now.

I want the first 3 seasons Daryl back. Lighter and short hair and not the too dark dyed and too Long haired Daryl. I want to see his facial expressions. His facial expressions are now behind his filthy too long and too dark dyed hair.
I love Carol telling him at the farm, that he's as good as them (Rick and Shane), every bit. He felt otherwise. That's why he loves Carol so much as a friend/family member. She respected him since the start. She saw who he realy was, nothing like his brother Merle. Carol loves Daryl, he cared, gave her that flower in S2 and told her the story behind it. Daryl always felt like out cast, but Carol convinced him that he was as good as them. Loved that. Daryl changed, became open to the others and felt that he realy fitted in with this group of survivers in S3. Rick started to trust him and his opinion. Thanks to Carol.

Daryl's relationship with his brother is so painful. Like Aaron said - he knows the difference between a good person and a bad person. And he knew his brother was a bad person and he struggled with it. He struggled with being loyal to his brother who although is family - emotionally abused him and encouraged him into bad habits - or being loyal to the group that took him in and treated him right. I always wonder how his character would be different if Merle were still alive now.

Why am I crying
With Maggie still alive, I’m sure Beth is making sure Daryl is the last man standing. I so wish we could have seen Beth’s arc and how this shit would have changed her. It’s unfortunate an episode or two later Aaron found them.
