Super inspiring walking/running achievement and with the heaviest backpack!!!... excellent videos and photography of the different desert landscapes also...those must have been enjoyable beers and pizza slices!!...enjoy the well deserved R&R🍻
Congratulations, great achievement 👍thanks for sharing your exploits, enjoyed all the videos, brilliant choice of background music too 🙂looking forward to seeing your next adventure 👍
I have seen your MDS videos and it is a very tough test, but it is clear that you trained very well to overcome each stage. And the 80 km stage is the one that impressed me the most. Buen camino 👣👣👣
Yes, the 85km was hard. BTW, was just thinking of you yesterday, and checking out the Camino in Mallorca 😊 But now in just 3 weeks it will be the Camino Norte😊 Buen Camino my friend 😊
What an achievement. Bravo and congratulations! Each I was waiting for next video. Very inspiring! Thank you for taking the effort to video during your the MDS and sharing afterwards.
What an epic journey... The achievement of finishing and the position you arrived in is truly inspiring. That first cold beer must have been some moment also😂😂😂.. it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the whole experience in a follow up vid... When you have time of course 😂 Already looking forward to the next journey. Veteran to veteran Well done and thank you for sharing. celeri et audax
Thanks!.. Happy you enjoyed them😊 I have gotten some questions about a follow up as you mention... So I will think of it a little... Otherwise, next will be the Camino... Maybe with a drone this year...🤔 ...Could be nice with some different footage.
Quite inspirational…so very well done. As an aside I just read about competitor # 359 from Australia. A bit of prose and a couple of pics on the RAAF website. I posted there that I had watched your videos…and included your link. Hope you get a few hits from downunder!!
Yes, it was an amazing experience, and it was an honor meeting you - and now we are both MDS FINISHERS 😍 Let me know if you find something else you think I/we should try 😊
@@thewalkingveteran Yes 👍👍👍👍 anyhow I feel like in the old movie „Apocalypse Now: When I was there, I wanted to be here and when I was here I wanted to be there.“
Happy you liked it, and YES - a tough challenge.. it's self sufficient. So charging comes I form of what you carry with you. So for me it was 3 powerbanks... 2 would be enough since I didn't use the tracker on my phone. Realized that i wouldn't have enough power to track all stages. so my phone was in battery saving mode. and of when I didn't use it in the camp... I don't bring solar charger since I don't have experience with them. so I wanted to use charger I was familiar with... Thanks for watching😊 Camino Norte is starting June 21st... Again I have limited time for my Camino... so time and daily distances will be an issue 🤪

I’m proud of you kiddo! Quite an accomplishment to tick off the bucket list. Curious how you were able to charge phones/watches at camp.
