You and other sobriety channels do a great job to help us out psychologically/ philosophically/spiritually with our condition.
And sobriety has to come first to everything else it's the truth.
But I think we also need to discuss our social condition which is for many of us absolutely catastrophic, in fact many of us are on the brink of becoming homeless bums, if not already...
You are strong and an example and motivation for us when you deal successfully with a zero income situation.
But obviously the lack of a decent income/job/social integration is a trigger for relapse for many of us.
I feel we need better discussion/help on this issue because addiction is a total condition where there is also a strong social dimension.
There is a blatant lack of resources concerning this important subject.
I don't expect to get them from you or other alcoholics I just wanted to point out how important this is and that we have to work seriously on this issue !
@forthesakeofthesongs thanks for bringing this up, I’ll address it as the topic of the live stream tonight. I have experience with the pressures of homelessness, unemployment as a result of consequences from my addiction, and handling the stigma of addiction in the hiring process. Thanks again, hope you catch the live stream tonight, or tomorrow as it may be.
It’s now or never I have to make the change now. I woke up with vomit all over my bed and my legs are aching like a Mf and feel sick to my stomach which never happens to me
