girl! I'm going to thumbs up this video just because you cut your loc to show how to reattach it. That is true dedication! I applaud you and I appreciate all that you do for your subscribers.

I am still fairly new on my journey, so I am still in the striving for length phase LOL. I have always admired your hair even when I was a loose natural. Thanks again for going the extra mile!

Thank you so much. I had not lost a loc in 12 years and then one day I started losing them. I believe it was due to a style I had where I recklessly removed pipe cleaners. In any event I was super frustrated by how many I lost. My husband too has lost several locs due to keeping styles way to long. I wish I'd found your tutorial before tossing many of them away. I am a heavy researcher when it comes to trying or purchasing something new and have reviewed many other tutorials and 3 years later I find your tutorial to be the best. Thank you thank you thank you.

Awesome! The best method I've seen better than sewing it back with needle and thread. tfs.

Wonderful video! Does this also work closer to the scalp after years of the dread 'migrating'?

Sooooo....I've had sisterlocks in my 10 year olds head for 7 years. And she's cut of the loc in the very front of her head.... almost down to the root. Fortunately I've saved some of the weak locs that I've had to cut... will be using this to repair hers. Thanks so much

Takes a bit more effort with fatter locks that break farther up the shaft of the lock. I added a rubber band on the platted section to temporarily ensure it stays in place.

Thanks again!! You saved the day. This method is so intuitive and simple. I can’t thank you enough. I was stressing out because my very front lock at the top of my forehead had broken! ❤️

How long does it take to fully reattach in order to keep growing if it was cut at the root?

No tools yesss! I have hated crochet needles since 1997. They are NOT good to put in hair!!!
