girl! I'm going to thumbs up this video just because you cut your loc to show how to reattach it. That is true dedication! I applaud you and I appreciate all that you do for your subscribers.
I am still fairly new on my journey, so I am still in the striving for length phase LOL. I have always admired your hair even when I was a loose natural. Thanks again for going the extra mile!
Thank you so much. I had not lost a loc in 12 years and then one day I started losing them. I believe it was due to a style I had where I recklessly removed pipe cleaners. In any event I was super frustrated by how many I lost. My husband too has lost several locs due to keeping styles way to long. I wish I'd found your tutorial before tossing many of them away. I am a heavy researcher when it comes to trying or purchasing something new and have reviewed many other tutorials and 3 years later I find your tutorial to be the best. Thank you thank you thank you.
Donna H thank you so much. I try to make videos that are helpful. Sorry you had to throw them all away. Now if it happens again which I hope it doesn’t you will be prepared
I am just now seeing this because I will soon be helping a friend reattach his locks so thank you! I cannot believe that you actually cut off one of your locks of show is this video! 😱😩💪🏾So much dedication! thank you so much!
been following you since before china and you still be coming thru with what i need…quick, straight to the point, and beautiful as ever!ty and give thx for you & the content!🙌🏽💚
Sooooo....I've had sisterlocks in my 10 year olds head for 7 years. And she's cut of the loc in the very front of her head.... almost down to the root. Fortunately I've saved some of the weak locs that I've had to cut... will be using this to repair hers. Thanks so much
Takes a bit more effort with fatter locks that break farther up the shaft of the lock. I added a rubber band on the platted section to temporarily ensure it stays in place.
Thanks again!! You saved the day. This method is so intuitive and simple. I can’t thank you enough. I was stressing out because my very front lock at the top of my forehead had broken! ❤️

Awesome! The best method I've seen better than sewing it back with needle and thread. tfs.

Wonderful video! Does this also work closer to the scalp after years of the dread 'migrating'?

Using this method today.
That is easier then using thread. Thanks for sharing!

Very clever! Thank you.

How long does it take to fully reattach in order to keep growing if it was cut at the root?
👌
Thank you, smart idea
you are welcome
Wow
Now I need to learn how to.,plat haha.
THANKS‼️
Thank You So much!
….but mine snapped at the root. Is there anyway to fix it?? 😩
Luv ur videos but most of all I gave it a thumbs up because you cut your own loc 😳😊
Nia Hill
huh?
I have a knot in a loc about mid way and it's kind of big. I want to cut and comb that knot out and then reattach it so bad but I am scared to 😭😭
Can I use this option if it snapped at the root as well??
I am not sure. I never tried it but you can try and see. Please let me know if it worked for you.
Did it work?
You just helped me thanks!!
you are welcome
i just made a video on how to repair dreadlocks and it would be super cool if u could take a look !!
No tools yesss! I have hated crochet needles since 1997. They are NOT good to put in hair!!!
