- Hello! A conversation regarding when are too many bags too much? I have been looking at my collection and as much as I love everything I own, I am starting to think I may have too many at this time. So what is the magic number? Is there a magic number? Hello Isabel. I feel torn as well. My life has changed so much since I started my bag collection. I WFH and I am a mommy to a 6 year old. So my life is pretty much school and park activities and then working solely remote. Therefore I do not use any of my Chanel bags except for the occasional date night with my husband. My bags currently sit on a shelf.😩
Love your collection.

Hi Isabel- my opinion is that too much will be different for everyone. I’m retired and I have drastically reduced my handbags , oh I still love looking at a beautiful bag but in addition to retiring we downsized our living space and I do not have room. Priorities change, and I just felt I did not need to buy every pretty thing but I’m more selective and when I started getting grandchildren a few years back I started looking at nylon bags and coated canvas bags. They are so lightweight. Now regarding your beautiful maxi bag, I personally love deflated quilting, you may want to follow through with a consult with leather surgeons, especially if you would seek out another bag that looks the same. Also, you may want to check consignment options in your area. With FaceTime you should be able to show your items and get a idea of what you can expect. Maybe look to see if a consignment store has a bag on your wishlist and you can see if a trade is possible. Good luck😊
Hi Bea, you are so on point. I’m looking to retire in approximately 5 years & struggle when to start aggressively saving & downsizing 😍but right now I think I want to move some items that perhaps I purchased on impulse and I don’t use. We shall see. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Hi Isabel, I like the content of your channel and I love your collection🤩
Thank you so much! 💓
I’m struggling with the same question regarding how much is too much! My issue is that so many different styles, designers and colors appeal to me. I keep telling myself “ you don’t have to buy every bag you like! You should absolutely love it!” Not sure that’s working yet 😂
I totally agree! At times I am overwhelmed by all the bags I have, yet I continue looking & wanting others 🤣. That being said, I do have a few bags and accessories I just don't use and need to move them out, even though I love or really like them.
❤ my handbags 👜 I use my handbags. The bags I don’t use I am going to try to sell 3 of them LV pet noe, Gm Noe in black epi leather and Saumur 35 in Monogram no magic number however I am not buying any more
Hi Susan, I am with you. I need to let go of what I don't use.
I feel you Isabel. In my mind I feel that more than 52 bags is excessive as there are only 52 weeks in a year. This way you rotate to one a week which I try and do with the bags I have. I don’t own 52 but I think that’s a magic number or maybe even 26 for biweekly rotation.
The 52 bags for the 52 weeks in a year is totally on target! Makes total sense! 😍
I know that feeling. I stop buying luxury bags but I still have over 40 luxury bags that I love I try using them all but I don’t have enough time. Also I move back to Florida and in the back on my mind I always think of Hurricane Season. The safety of my family and I come first I can’t take all the bags with me.
The hurricane piece hits close to home. I don't think of it much but there was a storm or two where I packed them all in containers just in case but of course my family and dogs come first. What part of Fl are you coming back to?
@@50plusluxurystyle I used to lived in West Palm Beach now I lived in Port Saint Lucie. I’m originally from New Orleans and in 2005 I lost my house to Hurricane Katrina. Most of my bags I purchased when I lived in Pa for a couple of year Hurricane or national disaster it’s not something you have to worry about much so I went crazy and shopped a lot. Also the prices where not as crazy as now. I don’t want to sale any of my pieces because some of them are discontinued or hard to find. All of my bags and SLG are in great condition.
