I recently went through all my clothes and got rid of my "skinny clothes" that I once was able to fit in. I dunno why but doing this really helped me feel better.
yeah you go!!! I think it makes people feel better because when you keep your "skinny" clothing, it feels like you're planning on losing weight and fitting into them, but when you just accept that you are the size you are, I think it makes you feel happier :D ("you" isn't you per se, just a person)
I did the same thing recently since i've gained quite a bit of weight to benefit my health, it makes me feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
Don't cut the sleeves off the Hanson shirt! Lol I will buy it, I've been waiting haha

I know, I hear her say so often things get ruined in the wash. Wash on cold and hang to dry always. Maybe she could do a laundry video?

At least with cheap thrift store items you get your use out of them from almost the first wear so even if you wear it a few times it's worth it. Thrifting has taught me to do closet clean up more and only buying new full priced items if it's something I cant live without and can't get at a thrift store.

There is a band T-shirt store at my local flea market that I know you would LOVE! I brought a Garth Brooks t-shirt there and it's one of my favorite shirts. I absolutely adore that Wynonna and Travis Tritt t-shirt you have. I will always love 90s country, it's what I grew up listening to.

I am also in the middle of yet another closet declutter!
This winter was the first time I really paid attention to my wardrobe. I took a mental note of everything I wore and gravitated to. As spring was kicking in, I got rid of everything I didnt bothering wearing. I don't know if its age but I just am starting to realize there is no point to hold on to things you dont use.

I made a "rule" that everytine i got something new, I had to get rid of at least 3 things. It helps!

Carrie, your clothes that have shrunk -- try hanging them to dry instead of drying in the dryer. I mean, idk, you might already do that. If it's stuff that tends to wrinkle, just throw in the dryer for 10-15 mins to take out the wrinkles, then hang. And the jeans that no longer fit, try stretching the waistband when wet and then hang to dry. That's what I do or used to do with some of my tighter fitting clothes to make them more comfy. :-) LOVE your videos!

If I have second thoughts on getting rid of something, I KEEP IT for another cycle of clothes cleanouts! Then if I still havent worn it, out it goes the next time I clean out my cupboard.
