  • Since last year, when half of humanity was stuck at home because of COVID 19, the whole world dived completely into online shopping. Everybody was happy to receive instantly new sneakers, a new PlayStation, or food delivery. It all seemed magical. But behind those high-speed deliveries, there is an invisible world: warehouses open 24 hours a day, with hard working conditions. It is a strange new world, hidden behind the screens, that we do not want to see.
In 2004, we choose to work with an NGO to handle VEJA’s logistics. We grew with Ateliers Sans Frontières for 15 years, achieving miracles. We closed during the 1st French confinement to protect the people working there, because knew how the virus could hit.
Last year, we switched our VEJA’s e-store to Log'ins. This organization is working with lightly disabled people and taking care of their social inclusion.
In their warehouse located in the South of Paris, they stock, pick, prepare and ship worldwide our sneakers. Last year, 86 persons joined the team to work in a safe and adapted environment. Log’ins’ main goal is to provide them with a stable and secure position and eventually the confidence to find another job.
At the end of their short-term employment contract, 75% of the employees are in a "dynamic exit" with either a work contract or training.
