As much as Gernot Rohr wasn't a coach who played attractive football, his team had a way to get results & had character. NFF made a big mistake sacking him before last year's Nations Cup and World Cup qualifier. We all saw the outcome of that decision. NFF went on to bring a mediocre coach in Jose Peseiro, yes the players didn't play great but a team is the reflection of the coach. Can anyone pinpoint any match the Super Eagles played very well under Peseiro? Performances have been shambolic. The earlier they sack him and install Finidi George or a more competent coach to handle that team, the better. They have not even played Zimbabwe, South Africa, or Benin and they are struggling? Nigeria might miss the next World Cup. Nigeria Football doesn't even interest me anymore, the performances are not assuring and you can get a heart attack or become depressed. The team lacks characters & leaders, and no experienced players to push the team. You would expect after the equalizer, they would become more aggressive and search for the second goal, but the attitude of players & the coaching was lukewarm and below-par. Ademola Lukman should be benched. He never plays like that when he plays for Atalanta in Serie A, but his performances for the Eagles are always poor.

Can anyone pinpoint any match the Super Eagles played very well under Peseiro? Performances have been shambolic. The earlier they sack him and install Finidi George or a more competent coach to handle that team, the better. They have not even played Zimbabwe, South Africa, or Benin and they are struggling? Nigeria might miss the next World Cup. Nigeria Football doesn't even interest me anymore, the performances are not assuring and you can get a heart attack or become depressed. The team lacks characters & leaders, and no experienced players to push the team. You would expect after the equalizer, they would become more aggressive and search for the second goal, but the attitude of players & the coaching was lukewarm and below-par. Ademola Lukman should be benched. He never plays like that when he plays for Atalanta in Serie A, but his performances for the Eagles are always poor.
