- Hi my Angels! In today's podcast, we are talking about the culture of idolizing individuals, whether they are celebrities, influencers, or even people we know in real life. I recently did a Rover Rant on NOT making couples your relationship goals, and I wanted to expound on the topic of idolizing others further and really deep dive!! It’s so important to understand that NO HUMAN is inherently superior to you, and it's time to kick anyone we idolize off the pedestal and, instead, focus on propelling ourselves forward. EVERYONE has at least one (if not more!) God-given gift that makes them exceptional, and it's THEIR JOB to uncover it and become the best version of themselves.

This is why I’ve pulled away from celeb gossip and spending so much time listening to it or reading about it. Whenever I find myself distracted or pulled in, I do something else to improve myself, even if it’s meditating or listening to a podcast. Being mindful is 🔑

Verey beautiful talk I love self development and working on my shortcomings. I can not tell you how many times when I leveled up the girlies were mad and worked so hard to tear me down. I always gave up and went into a deep depression. Now I could care less I live my life and do what makes me happy.

Everyone is everyoneing😂 I felt that. 🤣 but seriously this is so true. If I was another person looking at my social media, I’d be like wow, that person lives a fun, care-free life.. but only I know the truth, and in between the travel photos, there was heartbreak, crying, some of the hardest moments of my life, etc. It’s always good to remind people that social media truly ISN’T real. It’s choosing the best moments to highlight on a page. The small percentage of a person’s life. The good times may be all real, but everyone has ups and downs. We don’t showcase the downs and losses, usually. Anyway, love all your talks🥰 ty for this!
I can honestly relate to what you pointed out; for example, being genuinely happy for other people was and is still hard for me to work on because of my insecurities. It has gotten better but I want to be able to be present with others and let them have their moment without feeling like a threat. It is not a great feeling to have and I know one thing for sure is that I will never show that negative side of me.
