That’s awesome I had a blast with you guys yesterday surf fishing in Seward and learning how to use drones. Thank you for showing me you guys are the best
@@rickmanning8507 well we have used Circle hooks and we don’t use Big River because we loose more But like I said that’s my opinion and my experience hopefully you get better results than we did but reeling a fish in 820 feet to 1100 feet is along time for them to get off. But hey what ever works for you is best for you everyone is different. We have used Both! We learned Later our Hooks have Been used so much with out Sharpening them that they were to Dull to get a good set
Hoping to get out to Lowell Point this Monday or Tuesday, any place that rents out gear in the area? Planning on getting some gear myself but wanted to dip my toes first.
@@BOUTDOORSALASKA hm I see. Heard the ugly stiks are a good way to go. May see if I can pick one up. I know you recommend big river hooks; any other stuff I should look into getting before heading out? Aside from the obvious: rod, reel, heavyweight line, etc?
@@thomasmickle7289 you Don’t need a Drone But I recommend 12ft pole braided Line and use 8oz or 10oz to cast far and hold your bait to the ground We catch Fish with with and without Drone but it’s definitely better fishing 200+ meters out we catch some fish 30 yards out in Summer time. To get farther out people use Kayak, Bait Cannon or Drone drone is good no matter the weather when you get a Swellpro they are Water Proof and can land in the water if you wanted
@@BOUTDOORSALASKAit’s a 11 hr drive to Eagle. That’s if I don’t stop and the roads are good. Everyone is busy so will probably just stay home. Lots of free candy this weekend, my son will probably get enough for a year😂 we have a ton Already from the past two weekends.

Great video. Went put to lowell point on the 20th... Got skunked but it was beautiful so still had a great time.

Just curious, is it possible to fish without the drone in that area?
