"what's the difference between meat jun and tonkatsu?"
chef keoni's expression is priceless...
And then she proceeds with ,”Can you do this with fish? Because I know they have fish jun?” What in the actual fuck. SMH 🤦♂️
I know, right? Who is this woman? Is she really from Hawaii?
Your comment is a decade old and still applies... is this person fo' real or wat???? Geezus....
What’s the difference? Pretty much everything except for the frying part. 😂
lmao when u try break the awkward silence and say something that makes things even more awkward
Very awkward chemistry these two...
Their either married or they actually don't like each other off camera LMFAO
When she asked "what is the difference between meat Jun and ton katsu" he glanced at her like "are you serious?" 😂
For real!!! This guy knows how to eat Hawaiian style.
thanks for the recipe, it was a big hit and made me look like i can acctually cook.
I just love your videos. I'm having a great time trying all of your recipes. Mahalo!!!
Tried this tonight and it was amazing!!!
How's Braddah' Keoni he jus' neva scuff'em down, he wen' pound'em! LOL!
Ho buggah was hungry
To much hard drinking the night before, hungry enough not to share...lol!!!
Thank you for the recipe. Can’t believe she almost completely ignore him while he was talking... dipping meat requires full attention
Chef keoni was poooounding that food
Yo my man I feel so bad when you have to answer the questions she throws at you!! Lol
Yesss! Awesome q & a learned a lot
The Meat Jun are appetizingly golden brown!! Ono-licious!! It's hilarious how Chef continued to "conduct" his quality and taste testing of his cooking! In all fairness to Chef Keoni, he is teaching the hostess as well as the viewers, the techniques in making Meat Jun. The hostess is not his guest, but his student as is the entire viewership of this video clip.
Kenneth Bargamento ok but in all fairness, that's still selfish! As a teacher you always make your students feel part of the group, we all make mistakes but on television come on!! People might think all local people act like that!?!?! I've met a few chefs as well but they wouldn't do their own students like that, come on NO CAN!!!
I don’t what kind sugar you use but the sugar I use is not salty 1:35 - 1:42 😂
the womans voice is on the left ear while the dude is on the right wow sugoi
love it gonna try make this !!!
Mahalos for this comedy show 😂2023 baby
How's braddah' Keoni, he just nevah' pound dat' plate, huh?
You know is good if the person tasting the food is speechless.
looks delish, can't wait to try out the recipe... just wondering why the male chef didn't offer any to the lady?!?!
because the females cook, while the males eat. thats just the law of nature
+8o8Vide0troller then why is he a chef when the student should be trying it. Looks like he partially cooks and eats with her just watching, that's not the Hawaii way!! Bet his girlfriend would have something to say to that!!!
Does anyone know how soons makes their meat jun?
That’s not a Top Sirloin slice of meat. That’s a sliced Sirloin Tip off the Sirloin Tip or as meatcutters call a knuckle. The difference is the Sirloin Tip come off the the beef Round whereas the Top Sirloin comes off the actual loin of the beef. Still a very good piece of meat to use and easy to slice on a meat slicer.
How many cup of sugar and soyu sauce
Can it be done with squid?
I made this & tasted ono. BUT, it seems so greasy. Also, I don't have a thin crispy crust. What am I doing wrong?
Oil not hot enough and need to shake off the excess flour.
Bradda didn’t waste no time to sample!🤙🏼
Dang stuffing his face all quick lol
Unreal bah. Dis dish fuken slaps cuz
wow, he's not sharing with his female co-host!
She asking too much questions..I wouldn't either😂
lol inhaling that food lol poor thing braddah mustve been starving lol good job guys!!
:)
So junk, no search bar for recipe on food land site. Tons of stuff you have to scroll through, waste time. Put the recipe below this video.
LOL
Let the lady taste first... wtf?!
I agree such disrespectful! This chef full of himself didn't even offer his co-host, where's your aloha spirit
was she a co-host? she seemed very amateur and lacking basic cooking knowledge. At the same time, "brah, why you no share the pupu?" Perhaps her eating habits prevent her from partaking? I miss "Soons" in Salt Lake.....
I don't think she's amateur at all. She needs to be the host, her 'amateur' behavior is knowledge to us the viewers.
And I thought it was just me.. He doesn't seem very nice towards her.. Or at least he seems annoyed..
*could
Rude.
Should have let the lady eat first!!!!
That salad looks junk to creamy
Can you make it better than a chef?
***** just because it was made by a certified chef does not necessarily mean everything they make will be delicious. truth is, some people can make certain dishes better than a chef. BUT, it all depends on everyone's own personal taste that determines if the person likes something or not. so it's not a matter of is someone can make a dish better than a chef or not, some people just have different preferences for example this person not liking that the salad looks too creamy, their preference seems to be not creamy salad. i'm sure there have been instances where you do not like a food you have eaten from a chef at a restaurant, at a home, or even fast food.
i love meat jun. I've moved to Cali and its been two years since I've been in Hawaii. So I was wondering if you can make a spicy ahi tutorial.
same I moved 2 cali from Hawaii 2!!
