a few years/half a decade maybe, degrassi did an episode like this too and probably other shows did too, and to catch a predator was from 2006… because adults realised the internet is not just good, if there is all that good, what about the bad…

i dont have many friends to get outside as much so online dating is my only option really :( , also i have social anxiety its easier to meet someone online. though i do think meeting someone irl is a much better experience
that’s fine but just be careful and keep your privacy with strangers or at least people you haven’t known for long enough (at least a year or a couple of years) but even then it depends
I've been groomed like this numerous times as a young girl... I was unsure why I was being treated the way I was by dirty old men, even my 'friends' creepy dad's used to groom me mainly with flirting, illegal substances and alcohol. I didn't know why I was being treated the way I was and knowing what they were doing but felt helpless to understand why and read the signs enough to get myself out of these situations, so I used to just give them what I felt they were looking for because I felt helpless to know what else to do... I then later in life realised was/am autistic...
I was the victim of it by my own father and a baby sitter. Luckily, the baby sitter didnt progress more than pining me to the floor and kissing me (i was 8) He was about 15/16. I never told my mum as she thought the world of him and i didnt know it wasnt normal at that age. I told her years later and she was horrified. "WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME!?" I didnt have the words. Needless to say she was distraught when she found out my father had been doing it for a few years. The baby sitter was doing it at the same time as my dad. I told a family friend what my dad was doing and she told my mum. She had to. I starting realising it wasnt normal when id stay at a friend's house and their dads werent doing it to them. My mum always said to me that abusers usually always know when you've been a victim and they home in on it.
I'm on the spectrum myself. The most important thing you must do is absolutely never blame yourself. You were taken advantage of by bad people who should have sought help themselves or been locked away for what they did. You only did what you felt you had to do to survive and whilst that can never make up for what you've been through, now you're grown up and can help protect others who are in the same situation you were. I know it's not much but you're a survivor.

Lol😅
Sarah Louise ends up counselling a kiddie fiddler😂
Some may remember him previously from Brookside as a larger-than-life comic character. It's a bit like when Robin Williams or Dawn French occasionally played psychopaths... something extra creepy about it.
I watched this episode as a 13 year old and it's always stuck with me.
They should bring back Candice
They should but they can’t, she has a contract with hollyoaks to play Maxine on their sadly
@@dollsvx WAIT that’s her? OMG i didn’t realise

Oh yeah candice Stowe 😅 what a character
Watching this again I cried like a baby at the end .😭😭
Ooh nice
They need to have more storylines like this nowadays !
So every generation in her family went through some kind of sexual abuse
This was excellent.
Corrie was a head of it's time with the storyline ❤❤
a few years/half a decade maybe, degrassi did an episode like this too and probably other shows did too, and to catch a predator was from 2006… because adults realised the internet is not just good, if there is all that good, what about the bad…
I’ve watched Sam in Brookside, Emmerdale and Corrie alongside his gorgeous wife Linda Lusardi! ❤️
This was so interesting omg
when Coronation street was good
Yes, I agree they need to start producing better storylines or do a Brookside and pull the plug. There are so many episodes so even if they pulled the plug but then re ran it there would be more than 10,000 episodes to watch.
What are great episode to raise the issue fair play to Coronation Street ❤️
Her stepdad Martin started having sex with a school girl not long after
Scary how this fake chatroom profile storyline is as revelent now as it was 20 decades ago :(
Hell would raise up on Earth if this ever happened to my daughter. I would take matters into my own hands as the Police wouldn't do anything!
Wasn't expecting to hear the House theme tune in this episode lol
Maybe if the make Corrie this way again I’d go back watching
All woke crap now on everything the oldies are the goldies
Well all the great writers need to be reenployed
It's always the stairs in soaps they are dangerous
It's cos they always leave bars of soaps on the stairs..in soaps..
@@truthoverlies1820 🙄🙄🙄

Police were really on the ball at the end there weren't they?
And this is why you shouldn’t go online dating.
Or just be very careful when online dating.
i dont have many friends to get outside as much so online dating is my only option really :( , also i have social anxiety its easier to meet someone online. though i do think meeting someone irl is a much better experience
that’s fine but just be careful and keep your privacy with strangers or at least people you haven’t known for long enough (at least a year or a couple of years) but even then it depends
Well it's just as bad in real life. You can't win.
I remember this. Pretty much teaching us on the dangers. All it did was cause more 😂
Sam Kane was literally divine
God I always hated Candice🤬🤬😠🤬😡🤬😡🤬
Crazy when this story line happened I was only 3 months old
It’s always the stairs 😂
The crazy thing about her being Groomed is her daughter was also groomed aswell by Nathan...
Good old Dennis Stringer!
I remembered this and it was really freaky
45 minutes is not an "episode", it's more than one
The Beans on Toast looks delicious, Gary knows how to Treat a lady.
Oh my goodness me too and I'm autistic as well 😢
Where were your parents? And you being autistic puts no blame on you, this happens to people who arent autistic all the time
I was the victim of it by my own father and a baby sitter.
What has being autistic got to do with it? Where is the relevance? There is no need to even mention it
Great video
God, every clichéd line there is all and OTT acting in 1 episode 😂
WHAT THE FUCK
