Another great transformation! We're slowly moving into Autumn here but I'm tempted to repot some of my junipers and Hinoki cypress. Do you have any thoughts on autumn repots? We're probably at least 2 months away from the first frosts here in UK.
@@rollmop99 unfortunately garden centre aren’t not good at all here for shimpaku. I started growing shimpakus over 15 years ago from cuttings and air layers as we had a huge shortage here. It’s slowly getting better here with more growers but can be expensive.
@@Bonsaiworx yeah well done. You must have grown these cuttings for most of your life! Hopefully my cuttings will look like that too in 15+ years! Thanks for the great video(s)!
@@look86133 if you can get pumice then that would be a huge benefit. I find peat moss is too fine and can condense the soil too much. Perlite is very light and can wash away. Pine bark and clay work. If you can just find pumice then that is a great product that is cheap as well.
Another great video from Juniperus Davidii.
Great work once again, thx David
The juniper phenom. It’s always a pleasure to see what you come up with!
It's really astonishing how much good content you put out in such a short time. Another great transformation and another great little tree.

@@briankavanagh7191 haha I knew I’d get a comment from you Brian on the maple. It’s glorious without leaf too.

@@KurisuBonsai I never repot in autumn anymore as had the occasional death. I never have any issues repotting in late winter early spring.
