Thank you so much for this very helpful information, Dr. M!! I really appreciate you providing your input on the validity of the test & for mentioning intrinsic motivation being the best predictor of success.
We get it, you don’t like the test and I thought that insight was really great. But I still have to take it, so instead of complaining let’s find VERY EFFECTIVE ways to problem solve and do well. That means more time talking through approaches and actually scoring of the example question. Thank you for the time you put into making this but in the future if you could include more information and action items that would be great.
Hi! We have a video that details the most effective strategies for acing this test and provide examples! Check it out ua-cam.com/video/su-xG0Gv980/v-deo.html
Great question! While both tests evaluate similar soft skills, they have different formats, scoring and an entirely different approach to questions. The best practice for CASPer is to use practice tests or simulations of the real test. Using the AAMC PREview videos alone to help you prepare for CASPer will not help you develop the skills you need to succeed on CASPer. We have a free CASPer Sim you can try out here: bemoacademicconsulting.com/free-sample-casper-sim-practice-test

I just want to know what the word "very" means to them and how it makes a difference in judgment!

How is AAMC PREview different from the Acuity CASper test? Do you know if I can use the AAMC Preview videos to prepare for CASper?

Hello Aman! Thanks so much for your comment! Glad you found this helpful!
Are there any questions that require us to have prior knowledge on a subject?
Hi Michael! Great question. No. Your knowledge is not tested in this exam.
So do I just take it without any review/study??
Absolutely not. You need to prepare and we have everything you need to prepare for this test here bemoacademicconsulting.com/blog/aamc-preview
