    I just became vegan and this recipe is amazing! I froze them right away to avoid eating them all... That prolonged them for only a week haha.. .my non vegan son loved them too..I think you are awesome and your beautiful warm spirit shines! Thank you for being you!

    I’ve made these like 4 times, using half the recipe each time bc I bake them in a bread loaf tin! Two of those four times I used coconut oil instead of butter, but then the milk really has to be room temp, if not a littttle warmer. Always turns out great regardless of whether I use coconut oil or butter!!!! Fav dessert recipe ever

    Whenever I have a friend who's interested in eating vegan for the first time I always send them to Sam's website and youtube channel. These look delicious! I'd just have to add some walnuts and I'd like to try it with a mix of whole wheat flour too.

    I love working with yeast, but there are times when I wish I can have cinnamon buns quicker than the 3ish hours yeast buns can take. So thanks for the recipe 💙♥️😍😘

    I made these today. I used regular butter and milk. I came across this recipe because I was trying to make cinnamon rolls without yeast or eggs (since these are out of stock everywhere right now). Anyway- they are good but this is definitely a biscuit recipe. However, I enjoyed it. I'd say this recipe definitely needs the frosting because the dough is on the salty side. However, I didn't find them to be dry. Overall, I really enjoyed.

    Loved these!! I had run out of yeast, so was looking for a recipe-everyone DEVOURED them!! Tonight I used this dough to make vegan pizza rolls-they look yummo!! Can’t wait to dig in!

      Answered my own question. Put these together last night and covered them with foil in the fridge. Baked them today and they were DELISH!!! I need to see if I can make these ahead of time and freeze them until ready to bake.

    These look delicious Sam! I don't know how I ever missed this video, but no yeast cinnamon buns are a dream come true. Making cinnamon buns is so intimidating to me, but now I'm going to try these for sure. I still maintain that Food Network needs to get you your own vegan cooking show!

    I've always avoided making cinnamon buns from scratch because I'm super intimidated by any non-nooch yeast. These look amazing and sound fairly easy! I wonder if there might be a way to make these oil-free by substituting apple sauce or vegan cream cheese for the vegan butter?

    Hi Sam the recipe looks delicious 🤤 I can’t wait to try it out. I’ve noticed in your videos when you use vegan butter you use the kind in the container opposed to the earth balance sticks. I mean there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using the container version I’m just curious. Anyways thanks again for your amazing recipe, have fun with your projects!

      The sticks are nice for baking. I have heard that the tub version contains more water to make it spreadable. Not sure how much truth there is in that but it makes sense.

    If you don't want the aluminum and the other icky fillers that are in baking powder, then just make your own since baking powder is simply 2 parts Cream of Tarter to 1 part Baking Soda. And, since 1 Tablespoon is 3 teaspoons, the math is super simple. For every tablespoon of baking powder use 2 teaspoons Cream of Tarter & 1 teaspoon Baking Soda. You can mix these up in advance and put them in your own container, if you like.

    Hi Sam. Thank you for this recipe! Have you tried this dough to make the "sticky bun" version (where buns are cooked in pan that first is layered with brown sugar, cinnamon, corn syrup and perhaps walnuts and raisins)? They look like they would hold up well but thought I'd ask before Giving it a try. Cheers

      Coconut flour will give an entirely different texture, that you may or may not enjoy because of the lack of gluten, it won't bubble up like a bread unfortunately.

    Mine crumbles apart when I tried to roll them.... so if you’re using gluten free flour make sure you kneed it a little bit more than she says.

    They are incredibly good, not too sweet. Many comments I get (I made them for crowds) they are not really brown. Is that the non-dairy milk? They look exactly like yours and are yummie though.
