If anyone says “oh well they dont even look like the Kraken anymore" have never seen a team blow up and do a rebuild IRL. This kind of thing happens all the time in the NHL

Every year in every franchise I the same thing. Exploit trade values, then complain that the sim isn’t accurate as you go out early in the playoffs, attempt to trade for 1st overall, get rid of core players and make a run at the number one free agent.
Ya I wish these gm youtubers would try to be more realistic and build a team properly. It’s so much more satisfying

Fun fact: Matthews scored at least 2 goals in his last game, because he won the Richard on his own and was down by one goal before the last game
Ovechkin scored 58 goals, more than Matthews 57. Yet Matthews got the Maurice Richard?
I think some teams actually had one game left to play when he checked the stats, so he probably scored in the last game.

I agree but I wish the background was black so we could play it without our eyes hurting. Also wish the made up characters were not just black faces but had a made up face.

Its literally the same thing as last year but with X-Factors. Still no all star game, still same boring draft layout. Same free agency(how can you not be able to rescind an offer?). Coaches don't adjust to their players preferences which makes the chemistry system null and void. Still can't see box scores of out of town games. Trade logic is non-existent. Free agency logic is non-existent. But yay, the background is white. HUT has ruined the NHL video game franchise.

I don’t know who’s idea it was to make the background white but they deserve to be fired. My eyes genuinely hurt after an hour of playing franchise mode
I got Bedard in my franchise and he was 79 med franchise when drafted but was 95 med franchise in his second season after being drafted (which was his first year in the league)
The awards list should go all the way back in time like in NBA 2k.

Mackinnon being available in free agency reminds me of when I traded Zadina for Mackinnon as a expansion Seattle team in NHL 19

You say you got a ton of picks in this draft but I remember in NHL 19 I would always have like two full rows of picks at the end of each draft and sometimes would have four first round selections

Drafted bedard in my franchise mode and he was an 86 in his rookie year. Only had to trade 2 firsts to get the 1st overall pick

@@bxrrysykes136 I was Seattle, I tanked to try to get him but my pick was between 10-15 and I also had the kings first which ended up as the 3rd overall pick. It was a top 3 pick and a lottery pick

Yo tactixhd if you need cap you can trade all your players who take tons of cap to rebuilding teams and sign all top players from free agency and trade them to the rebuilding teams back for your players but make them retain the cap 😈

If you want to keep Eberle I suggest trying to offer him a contract as soon as you can to get him cheap. If he has a good season he'll go back up and may cost more.

You really do need to take the draft more seriously.
Look into the stats and the xfactors rather than just the potential, send your scouts out.
You missed out on a lot of decent players when chasing the 50/50 potential.
I'd also agree but I do think he dosent do a lot of roster moves from AHL Bernier is the future has 44 goals midway through season hasn't been promoted to NHL which to me is no brained move but to get fair I probably wouldn't of started the season with him in AHL after his last season.
