- Soldiers dressed in 18th century uniforms in the Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña, commonly known simply as La Cabaña, fire a cannon over Havana bay at precisely 9pm each night for the centuries-old tradition of "El Cañonazo de las Nueve", a custom, kept from colonial times, signaling the closure of the city wall doors.
Im actually from Havana and every night as a child i thought my house was gonna get blown up by a cannon ball. Fast forward 11 years and i'm in the states, thousands of miles wishing i could hear it every night like i did when i was a child. I know it isn't the only video on youtube but i really appreciate you uploading it. Thank you for helping me relive this memory.
I was there recently. I went there too, thx for uploading it
Thanks for the video !
A very good video, I love It. I'll never forget that moment when I was in Cuba.
With the Spanish Empire Flag... Fire!
