Given that model railroading has become expensive $$$$, thank you for showing the DIY side of things. - Many great ideas and techniques and that very helpful assistant, - if you haven't married her you are a fool. 😇😇😇

It looks great so far. Maybe put a sawmill in that green area with a spur coming off the main line. Some log cabins, a lake, a general store and a gas station.

Looks like you could benefit from a backboard with scale pictures of Alaska. I bet some locals would be happy to send you a few. 😉☕️👍

Love your layout! Thank you for sharing! The chopped down Christmas tree is such a brilliant idea for trees!
How are you liking playing and/or building it?

I would have aded a couple of turnouts and spurs to park railway wagons on but amazing for less than the price of one of my German diesel locos

Where is the girl in the thumbnail!, mainly why I clicked on this video!!!
I give you credit sir putting a layout together on a budget, but it’s still kinda missing that realistic factor, though that’s my opinion, as long as your happy that’s what matters 😎

Wood alone is over $100. Not all of us have left over wood hanging around

If your not putting towns in then Frozen lake with fishing boats /ship on it... Alaska is best commercial fishing in winter. Looks good but needs some life buildings and cars, people, Bears wolfs
