    2:57 - 3:40 I am sure it was all an improvisation but the sound of that patch is very beautiful indeed!

    Hello Friend. Congratulations on the video. It's really impressive! Could you please share the Rhodes PCG timbre with me or let me know the parameters so I can configure it? Thanks.

    I wonder if I can set it up correctly, so that you can connect midi to a PC and thus control various VST instruments with the keyboard? I have a Korg N364 and need this help.

    • @musicmanworld1724
      @musicmanworld1724  10 місяців тому

      You can do this with midi cables, then you need a midi audio interface. Or a special midi-USB cable. You do the rest of the configuration in a program like Cubase

    • @Bergerheim
      @Bergerheim 10 місяців тому

      @@musicmanworld1724I have all of this and I've been using the Korg with Cubase. I use Midi USB connected to PC. But I have forgotten how to do the right commands on the various buttons, to activate so the midi signals go out from the synth.
      Many years ago this worked perfectly. I think this is explained in the Reference Guide on page 171, how to set up the synth correctly to be able to control external synths or pc vst instruments. But I still don't understand these explanations correctly. But maybe there is another section in the Reference Guide that explains this more easily?
      Can you make a short video and clearly show each button in the correct order and setting step by step, so that your synth can control your various VST instruments in your DAW software like Cubase, Reaper or other DAW?
      Can't you make a video tutorial, so maybe you can clearly write down every button and setting you use step by step, until it works with usb midi to the computer?

    Hey. I have this same keyboard. My A and B banks are empty for some reason. Do you happen to know, how to do factory reset? Now I dont have any piano sounds 😅

    • @ozzyp97
      @ozzyp97 5 років тому +1

      You need a floppy disk to get the sounds back, you can either use the original or make one by downloading the factory files from Korg. If your drive doesn't work and you don't want to fix it, it's also possible to use SysEx via MIDI, but I can't help you with that.
      Banks A and B are held in RAM, so you may have to replace the battery on the motherboard as well. It's soldered, but otherwise a standard CR2032 cell. You can either get replacement with legs for soldering or install a socket to make future replacements easier.

    • @ozzyp97
      @ozzyp97 5 років тому +1

      Another tip:
      If you want to replace the floppy drive, the N364 is compatible with most standard PC drives, and should also work with USB floppy emulators. You just need an adapter to convert the ribbon cable to normal floppy and power cables.

    Hi Music man world...I have a question..do you perhaps know wich other Korg Keyboards have the same type of strings like the N364? Cause I just can't find the N364 anymore and was wondering if there is a model of Korg that has that same type of strings like the N364...? Thx in advance

    • @ozzyp97
      @ozzyp97 5 років тому +1

      Korg X5D can do some of the same sounds because they have identical A and B banks. I'm told it doesn't sound quite as clean though.
      Edit:
      The N5, N1 and the NS5R and N1R rack modules should also be capable of the same sound, but I don't know whether they can load N364 patches. If they can't, you'd have to manually recreate sounds.
