I just hope that this is finally the year that Sho and Mike get to the playoffs together. I'm Japanese so I'm happy that Japan won. But I am a fan of both Ohtani and Trout, so I was both happy and sad when either of them won. I will never forget the fact that I was able to witness the confrontation between the two, which I had dreamed of long before the WBC was held. I will forever be grateful to all the members and the gods of baseball who made this miraculous showdown possible.
