Hey man, I just found your channel not to long ago and I love your content! My Dad was from Nicaragua and when he passed away in 2020 he left my brother and I his finca outside of Leon. We are growing a little bit of Yucca to utilize the land. My brother and I used to live in Nicaragua when we were kids for 2 years and we always went back every summer to visit my Dad and family. My grandparents still live in Managua and they are in there 90s! We try to go to Nicaragua at least once a year to check on things and visit family. We are planning to make a trip later this year. In 91’ I lived at Nico valle, La Planta. Up the hill from the harbor docks. This building was a grocery store. I shopped there almost every day. I live at playa Marsella now

Thanks for watching! I recommend to bring a light weight car seat. The reason is because you can sit the baby to rest or sleep when on long road trips. If it's short driving we just hold them.
How crowded and congested is SJDS in the winter high season, and how different is the weather throughout the year after high season? In the event a person visits in other periods of the year?
The houses on the hill are nice, but so are the ones in a canopy of large trees, a 5 min. Flat walk to the calm water cove. The beach has the best sand . Super clean. Bosques Del Mar, playa Marsella , San Juan is close by. Drive or go by electric kayak. The development has a nice developed park next to the beach. A BBQ at sunset is a nice way to end the day. If you don’t want to cook , the north end of the beach has a cafe over the lagoon and a beach bar on the sand. The lagoon has a resident crocodile,, Paco. . He usually hangs out below the tables he likes fish tacos. Paco is fat and has no desire to leave the lagoon
I'm from jalapa I left 22 years ago every time i go to nica I won't recommend drink water from the tap and just carefully with the managua coffee that always mess me up 😅
I’m from Santa Cruz. Don’t go there, it’s plowed over.----. SJDS is way better. For $10, you get a killer restaurant meal. In the states, you get a crappy McDonald cheeseburger Done with the states

I’d advise to not drink directly from the tap. Bottled and filtered water to avoid any stomach issues!
