Hi Lee and Joyce! Wonderful video! I know this video is a couple years old, but don't forget to add Sarafina Fiber Arts as a place to watch GREAT videos as well! Joyce, you were the first video I saw that really got me excited about the possibility to create a critter. I thank you so much! You were part of my beginning!
This a great video! And the felted eyes are awesome! I have been searching for a tutorial video about how to add plastic or glass eyes and noses as well as whiskers to cute animal critters. Please make one! I found a few about how to add plastic eyes but none on whiskers.
How do you make them so that there is no wisps hanging off of them .... I will felt my sculptures until their hard and they will still have little fuzzys hanging off of them .... So I know I'm not underfelting ....help?????
Thanks for sharing this, It is the first time I have ever seen this craft, I always thought felting was cutting up sheets of felt and stitching together to make things.
Enjoyed this . thankyou. Can you kindly tell me what the hessian cushion is stuffed with please.I have hessian to make one but not sure the best thing to stuff it with to make needle felting easier. xx
You know I am so freaked out, that I have never seen or heard of this. I am 45 and grew up in a very craft centered environment. I stumbled across this on pinterest. I am amazed at how cute and intricate these little felts can be. From something almost scary easy to beautifully detailed and designed. The orange pumpkin you were working on was awesome. The eyes were too cute. Could you tell me from start to finish how long something like that would take? I am very interested in pursuing needle felt as is my daughter, she is 15 and very artistic. I think she could really excel at this. I have too much free time as I am disabled and stuck in a wheelchair. This would be a nice hobby, although I doubt I could make anything like that pumpkin...please any info on where to get a starter kit would be helpful. Thank you
+Patricia Camp Or if you can find a Daiso Japan store that would be great too. They have very cheap prices and the kits are really cute. Comes with detailed instructions that are easy to follow
Oh please, don't make needle felting an elder people thing! The creations some people make are amazing!!!! This is good but still. I am sorry, I just can't help it!

+Vera Benson Nobody ever said old and young people can't be into the same things. Chill.
+Bradley Krovich Elders make it more complicated and confusing. Younger people, like teens, tweens, and kids make it cuter and a more appealing craft.
"Elders aren't allowed to have fun" is what I'm hearing here.
You're the most shallow person, ever.
Well you have opinions just like I do.
Americans........
You are too much talking,I do not like it !
Creepy...
