Man Mr. Gupta, I thought you are better than this. When situation was better you didn’t utter a word in support of the government. Now with one incident you are calling militancy and look at your headline saying “militancy returned “. You act like a learned man and cannot identify terrorism. Indian army is too poorly equipped and poorly protected compared to a modern army like the Israeli army. Ballistic vests worn by Indian army can't even hold up against armor piercing ammunition that jihadis are using these days. Hundreds of billions spent on military, but soldiers are not properly equipped. No better way to break the morale of soldiers.
Also, when will army stop using canvas covered trucks for transporting soldiers and start using armored vehicles like modern armies do? Most casualties happen when regular trucks carrying soldiers hit mines. No modern army loses soldiers like Indian army does. Life is cheap in India, and Indian soldiers are expendable. And Agniveer scheme was introduced to recruit more cannon fodder.

They are freedom fighters, not militants. They are fighting for their rights. Hold the plebiscite and let them decide about their future according to UNSC resolutions.
What a dilemma on the part of India that on the one hand, India wants to be a permanent member of the UNSC but on the other hand, it does not want to uphold the UNSC resolutions over Kashmir.

Pakistan has forfeited any rights in the matter by its systematic religious cleansing of Hindus, Christians, and Sikhs. From around 25% of the population in 1947, they are now around 2%.
