This brother hitting it on the head. I BEEN like this as well. Been speaking on these things and in this manner. Why? Because it's REAL. You're not LESS Christian or godly because you speak on REAL topics and say words like "clit" 😄 That's why a LOT of young people or those outside the walls DONT want to listen, because many times the church is still TOO stand offish on REAL topics and conversations that need to be had for the well being and forward movement of the culture. He's not right because virginity has one definition. Event he most strict of Islamic scholars say it's a penis entering the vagina. That's it. Sexual acts doesnt mean loss of virginity. Technically kissing someone can make you lose your virginity by this guy's failed logic
The church went over board at one time Christianity was controlling, bullying, a witch hunt and Ruled by fear. Now it's watered down, tolerant and all inclusive. Where is Jesus in all of it. Just speak the true gospel in love and allow people to use their free will to chose. Just like Jesus did. He didn't manipulate or use fear tactics or gimmicks.
You are right, he is preaching, sadly christians are not getting any TEACHING thus causing a lack of growth where spirituality is concerned (LOST SHEEP).
I honestly don’t know the difference because people who stop having sex for a short time say they’re both lol. How would you describe each as the true definition?

Tim I agree with you and witnessed that iin a freewill baptist private school. Where most of all the girls who where teens were not virgins Biblically, but becuase they didn't do it the correct way they called themselves "virgins". Also, their mouths, minds, and hearts weren't too. So dude, I agree with you. To which toxic purity culture needs to be addressed and we need to be Bibilically correct in all areas, including sex. ADONAI created sex as a covenant reafriment of love with husband and wife. Also the "girls" you mentioned are not virgins, cuase once you have sex for the first time. You are no longer a virgin. But welcome to the distorted culture we live in.
Purity is rooted in Christ. The fact that people have looked for a way around sexual intercourse to do other things does not change the fact that they have entered into the act in another way. Purity is to keep oneself from sin, not do something that gets you that feeling in another way.
It was a thing I got told by everyone in my local community that this is how the LDS youth get around it. With rational gymnastics and call it "soaking." They have to sign a contract when attending BYU university that they will not engage with each other unless married. Before he moved on doing his thang, The singer to "Imagine Dragons" got expelled for engaging with his girlfriend.
Yes! I went to school with a lot of LDS kids and as long as it wasn’t vaginal it wasn’t “sex”….like nope, you’re still having sex like everyone else but ok
Since you asked... Using their feet to stroke the gents. Toxic purity is one of the greatest evils in the land. Pastors try to use that verse from the Bible that talks about don't talk about what people do in secret. And ignore the verse about my people perish for a lack of knowledge. We would all be better off learning about these things the real the good and the bad from our parents and leaders, in a controlled loving safe open environment where the real can be discussed without shame. But instead we acting like we won't get eaten by the alligator in the water if we pretend it's not there. We say "don't tell him about that! then they going to want to go do it" And we should be saying "we need to tell them about that so they can know not to do it" rather than just fall into it because of their own sinful desires and temptation by familiar spirits in their bloodline or a monitoring spirit that found a way in through a foothold in the doorway to their hearts and minds.
The Church is preaching what the teaching of God is. To abstain is to invoke and ask the holy spirit, allow the Holy spirit to help you to control the sin of the flesh, lust, the desires of the flesh. Which its meant to be for the marital covenant spouse. That is the teaching. To say that it's toxic purity is wrong. It's not toxic to speak to truth. The truth is to teach repentance and asking the Lord to help guide tour desires and tmdo his will not our own.
Technically, virgin? No, sir, they're not virgins it's called oral and anal SEX. A virgin is someone who has not had sexual intercourse. This way of interpretation, as with many private interpretations, leads to these types of error.
Toxic purity culture isn't just abstinence. It's the promise that if you wait until marriage it will be amazing. How can you even promise that? Three years into marriage, and let me tell you...penetration isn't always possible. It's not just a myth or something people say to scare virgins into obedience...it really is a thing, and it isn't always fixable. It doesn't just kill sex, but family dreams as well. It's messed with my head. God blesses to the thousandth generation the one who loves the Lord. Like, we must really have done something wrong to not be blessed to even consumate let alone have another generation. So, yeah, even the promise of sex after marriage being "the bomb" is a part of toxic purity culture too.
Idk the church that i grew up in made it pretty clear that any kind of sex is sex. I havent been to a church that said "no vaginal sex, everything else is ok." This sounds like a tim ross issue lol
That is clear. It's biblical. My question is what are you actually saying? Can you share with us what you think is being spun? I agree with what he is saying. Likewise, I was hearing how prominent the idea was among Catholic girls in particular because it allowed them to be engage in sexual activity while remaining virgins. Being transparent, this was great news to a young man in the world looking to use women for sinful, lustful desires. The girls who did not have a conviction about intercourse could satisfy that desire and the ones who were more susceptible to oral sex to maintain their "purity" were good for that purpose. It's ugly and I'm not proud to disclose this but this is 100% exactly what was happening in my teens. I'm asking you to make your comment clear and direct so we can discuss versus speculate on what you mean.
