Wonderful Quotes! True Education = “Good literature” “Respect the person” “Flexible” “Living ideas” “Growing as a person” “A feast”

You hit the nail on the head about unit studies. I loved the idea of unit studies (still do love the idea honestly), but had the same experience as your family. We had a wonderful time, yet my children made almost no connections and I was burned out from gathering all the supplies and pulling off all the activities. Then along came Charlotte Mason and brought freedom...and connections.

I really love your channel, you have such clear eloquent speech in your explanations. If you ask my parents our homeschooling was “classical” but we also had many of the elements you listed here, especially in our elementary years. While I am many years away from the privilege of homeschooling kids I can’t wait to apply much of the Charlotte Mason style when I do, because learning from books and life rather than textbooks is the best way to enjoy learning.

Please could u do a video on Q&A's ? im fairly new to charlotte mason but know its right for our family values however as a creative person i love to do forms of notebooking with my young children( illustrated work from what weve learnt or read with some info) and compiled .. is this anything CM did or encouraged? i dont want to do it if not as i feel it could become a fixation to complete drawings as apose to just enjoying a good book with narration bt i do find it hard to move away from 'evidence based work' ie.( showing what we've learnt having a project outcome) how do i move away from this thought process?? And is nature journalling and nature studies the only time this is encouraged? please make a video on this topic. I Value your work and videos. thank you

Hi, I’m here to learn more about this method and I think I would finally have the transition on my child’s next grade level. Just completed your 5 stages video series of homeschooling through CM curriculum. Thank you for sharing all your experiences to homeschooling moms like us.
This is just the perfect method my child needs. He’s been requesting about this kind of method for so many times and glad I have found this. 🤍
