- Join us as head to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the first late night riding event of 2019! Throughout the year Pleasure Beach are holding 8 of these nights where rides remain open until 10pm with a fantastic firework display with the backdrop of some of the most iconic roller coasters in the UK.
In this vlog we share a mix of on and off ride footage from across Blackpool Pleasure Beach along with capturing the awesome atmosphere across the park. We also check out all of the changes at the park since our last visit, take a look at even more new merchandise and much more!
We look forward to attending more of the late night riding events at the park throughout 2019 and sharing more action packed vlogs from this awesome amusement park!

General Grievous Junior the Big Dipper almost killed me cuz of the safety bar was too high so I was flying for like the whole ride

I went here on Thursday gone and Icon was fantastic! I loved it so much I went on it twice ^_^ and I finally got to tick The Big One off my bucket list. I rode every coaster despite the weather being miserable. It was a fantastic day! Oh and the Wallace and Gromit ride was fully functioning too. Smells sounds the lot. It was so good.
Just got back from Blackpool this weekend. First time in over 10 years at the pleasure beach. The weather was fantastic and the queues were only about 10 mins per ride. Particularly impressed with Icon and In Fusion but everything else just as I remember. I did notice a few rides were no longer there but I can't remember their names. The only complaint I had was the haunted swing which is needing revamped and was stinking of pee. Overall it was a great day and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

Awesome vlog! I’m late watching but was down at a VERY windy Thorpe park yesterday!! Speaking of which me and my dad had to be evacuated off colossus as they had to E-Stop the ride (someone jumped the fence to grab an item they’d dropped) train on the brake run and us on the train about to go round the circuit had to be evacuated off!! First time I’d ever had that too!! And meant I got to walk down the lift hill (after I had to be winched in to safety with a waist harness)

The vlog and the coasters at night are great!
Having just visited the park for my first time, I am pleased to say I absolutely loved it. My favourite rides were Grand National, Ice Blast, Valhalla and of course Icon. I was also a big fan of Nickelodeon Streak, Wallace and gromit and the ghost train. I enjoyed the big one and even Infusion but woudn't rate either of them as a top coaster. Props to this channel for getting me to finally visit. Glad I did.
Only complaints I had was the animal models on the railway were rusted, covered in moss and has holes in and also one of the boats in Valhalla was so full of water it covered my waterproof shoes lol I don't mind the soaking but it would be nice if the boat wasnt full of water lol
Nice vlog Shaun. I was at Pleasure Beach a couple days before on Thursday for the very first time and Icon and The Big One were absolutely amazing coasters! I might come back here in July for the Late Night Riding Event as they look really good!

Do not touch anything about the Grand National!. I love the rough and slightly insane ride it gives and to change it would be a travesty.

We were at Blackpool last weekend had a great time icon is amazing!!! We were on the back row of grand national and had a terrible ride im covered in brusies from it. Defo needs some thing doing to it. Infusion is a great ride jamie was loving Wallace amd gromitt. We loce watchimg your trips to parks keep up the good work

Great vlog! I'm surprised they did the fireworks where they did. There is usually some debris even with professional setups. Some of which could settle on the track and station. Keep us updated, Shawn!

Went today and for once all the effects on Valhalla (apart from the rotating lifthill) were active, but it still broke down thrice 😂, also i believe one of the trains on Icon is having issues as it was really grinding and vibrating along the final few S-curves before the final brake run and was taken off shortly afterwards
Now Alton towers has lots to live up for late night riding then you can ride wicker man more in the dark
We look forward to Scarefest and riding it in the dark again

Infusion is an amazing ride, when I go on I don't put the bar all the way down so it gives my head room and doesn't bang
I don't mind Infusion. tbh, I didn't find Grand National painful at all but Big Dipper is a jolter.

Spoke to H.Turnstiles as we left towers on Tuesday. Also said hello to Lee on minetrain. Wicker man was on 5 mins for most of the day. Great day out loads of rides. Smiler was not too uncomfortable either 👍
BTW, I just wanted to say I kinda got teary eyed like the Mom I am from 2015 till now, just watching you all grow up, and how GREAT AND PROUD HOW YOUR MUMS MUST BE WITH ALL OF YOU!!!

Went on the national and big dipper yesterday. I haven't been on since I was a kid about 25 years ago. Jesus what a rough ride. on the back row and it was so painful but laughed so hard. Both them rides are strongly in my top 10 purely because of how rough they but at the same time they make you laugh.
Went on Icon for the first time too. Amazing. Loved it. Managed to get 5 rides on it.

Fab vlog guys! 👌 What a great day it was with a cracking atmosphere! Im still amazed how Icon just eats up any size queue when its on 3 trains. I managed 8 rides on Icon including my first ever night rides on it . Just stunning! Hopefully they will expand the late night openings (with or without fireworks) over the next few years. I agree with the comments about the Nash...they need to sort out the roughness, but if they cant...they need to get shut of it imo. 👌

Thank you for allowing me & my sister to be part of the vlog! Highlight of our day! Did you have any problems on Valhalla second lift hill? We went on like 4/5 boats after you and as we went up the lift hill it stopped and we slid back down, in the end it carried on going again, after we got off my dad told the operator and then it was shut down for the rest of the day🤷🏽♀️
That happened to me once but we didn't tell the operater and it was open for the rest of the day. I think it's quite common.

Went to the pleasure beach yesterday and the bridge is still open and my mom took a picture of me on the big one on that bridge 😜😜

Edit: When I went my friend and I didn't have ponchos, we were half way through Valhalla's queue when she ran underneath the bars and picked up a ripped up poncho from the floor and tried to wear it for the whole ride and it kinda worked..I was jealous :( I WAS SO WET

Although we have been to pleasure beach for I don't know how many years we go 4 times when we go to Blackpool on holiday

It was a great day and that was a great vlog :) managed to get in the background walking past at 40:37 too 😀 It would be nice if Bowl A Drome got made into a coaster like an el loco maybe a eurofighter OR a dark ride. IMp've akways said something like the Spirit of london in Madame Tussauds Lomdon, Spirit Of Blackpool of cource! OR maybe a restraunt! 👍
