(Ref) Chadariyā ho chadariyā; chadariyā jhīnī jhīnī bīnī.
Subtly & delicately, He (the Lord) wove this thin covering.
1. Kāhe kai tānā kāhe kai bharanī; (2) kauna tāra se bīnī (chadariyā). (Ref)
What is its warp? What is its weft? With what fibre, was this woven?
2. Ingalā pingalā tānā bharanī (2); sukhaman tāra se bīnī (chadariyā). (Ref)
The Nadis Ingala & Pingala are the warp & weft, the Nadi Sushumna is the fibre.
(3 main energy pathways in the nervous system = Ingala, Pingala, & Sushumna.)
3. Ātha kāval dal charakhā dole (2); pānch satva guna tīnī (chadariyā). (Ref)
He turned the 8-fold lotus-wheel; & with the 5 elements & 3 attributes, He wove it.
4. Sāī ko siyat māsa das lāge (2); thoka thoka kai bīnī (chadariyā). (Ref)
He took ten full-months, and knock by knock, He wove this covering (wrap).
5. So chādar sur nar muni oṛhe (2); oṛha kai mailī kīnī (chadariyā). (Ref)
Gods, men, and sages have worn this wrap; and sullied it by their wearing it.
6. Dāsa Kabīr jatana se oṛhī (2); jyo’ kī tyo’ ghar dīnī (chadariyā). (Ref) (ĀĪŪṛāīūḥɛ)
Kabir, the servant of God, wears it with care; so he can leave it as it was (unsullied).
