No it is not even hath yoga. In west it is mere stretching and breathing exercises. Hath yoga is broad and a aspect of Kriya Yoga in which Pranayam + Various Set of Kriya Yoga + Meditation all include with in itself. Hatha means by Forcefully or ( Jiddi tarika ) to unite with Brahman.
