My Dad took me there when I was three, in 1953. My first bus and subway rides! He worked at the Naval shipyard and had a medical exam that day. I recall thinking that Brooklyn looked very old and shabby. Maybe it’s been spruced up since then.
Brooklyn was not built solely by the Irish, but they played a significant role in its development during the 19th century, particularly after the Great Irish Famine
I notice that in all the cover photos of your videos you show the best of white neighborhoods and the very worse of the Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. I'm sure that's not a coincidence
And I am sure that if you show the worst of the white neighborhoods which would probably be in Harlem. Still would look better and that is a possible fact not a coincidence. 😅😂
