Enjoyed the video very much. Thank you. Enrico is a class act. It always amazes me the catch ability of his flies. I use his materials & techniques all of the time.
Excellent video as always 👍, learned some very valuable tips! Lol i do have that background in rocket science..... and sometimes these files are just a complex as spacecraft integration!😂🤟
Hey so I have a question about this fly and mangrove special style EP flies. I tied a few and then went out to fish them and they floated vigorously. They seemed to trap a large air bubble under the fibers after a cast that would prevent the fly from sinking. What can I do to these does and in the future to prevent this?
This is typically caused by using too much fiber. The more you use, the more air gets trapped. If you would tie it a bit more sparse, it would sink more readily. I have also use the lead tape around the shank of the hook to get them even deeper.
Good clip, missing few things from a beginner point of view. The right amount and proportions material based on actual hook size. Like he did with the eyes 👌 to use the hook point as a reference point for the eyes to be position. A complete circle as he also mentioned, “we should fish the fly” would be awesome. Over all a great clip. Grazie tante 🇮🇹 👌👌👌
I would have preferred just listening to Enrico...
HOLY SHIT THE LEGEND HIMSELF!
AND ENRICO PUGLISI 😂
What kind of brush is this?

Whoa! Way, way too much commentary/patter.Let the man do his thing.
The thumbs down for the host not Enrico. No, it is not rocket science. But it is a skill that deserves respect and a bit of humility.
