You`ve learned a few things since your first videos, but still... Another couple of things you may want to consider: 1. Even if loot 2.0 system compensates the tt loss due to low dpp, it doesn`t compensate ANY ammo or decay lost due to not having the skills to use a weapon! Your tt loss due to using an unmaxed UL old-school weapon (for your prof level) will be around 4% (study entropedia and pcf for this number). It`s like you`d always hunt only on taxed land... 2. MU for one LR25 (at 114.55%) is 8 ped. With a LR-25 you can shoot aprox. 658 peds tt worth of ammo (5395 uses * 12.2 pecs / use). If you cycle through 658 peds tt worth of ammo with a karma killer, you`ll lose more than 26 peds tt due to your low skills (which are NOT compensated by loot 2.0)... Draw your own conclusions from this. 3. The only reason you don`t lose a ton is because you don`t cycle to much..... anyone trying to skill up fast and to get to the higher levels, will have to cycle a lot more, and will surely lose a lot more if using un-maxed UL old-school weapons... For example someone playing daily and doing runs of 3k-3.5k peds worth of ammo / day will lose more than 130 peds/ day or more than 4k peds / month or $400... and this is WITHOUT MA`s usual cut... and then they come crying on pcf and complaining for losing hundreds of $ / month in an online "game" even at low levels...
It's funny, I've noticed the extra loss and I mention it in a recent video that there was something screwy that I just couldn't figure out. But it all makes sense now if I add in the 4% loss your talking about, which I'm hindsight makes sense. So even if I'm "saving" on the MU cost, I'll be losing way more due to the extra 4% loss. Cheers for the info man, this helps alot. Now that I know, I'll be able to address it in a later video.
Also worth mentioning, is the piece of mind you get from having UL stuff. Been around since before L items were introduced, and I don't think I could go through the whole 'having to buy a new weapon before each run'. Great content! Keep it going! ;)
you know now you can tier up UL items much cheaper than before...you get all items you put in TT value back in shrapenel you only lose markup on the items needed to tier up
just some speculation here but with lower efficiency weapons your losing on actual loot and getting more scrapnel, but with higher effi guns you get better loot that has higher markup but same tt return
Might be something worth testing. I could always buy a couple of low efficiency weapon like less than 15 percent and the. Compare it to my 70 percent axe. I'll do some tests. However a difference of 5-10 percent shouldn't have that much of a difference. I'll test that as well.
Karma is great and has decay 0,650 what is respectable small for UL. Hunting whole last year with it. Sometimes it's my only weapon because daily missions not so often for bonus missions. I'm not buying L weapons anymore
I liked this one 👏👏 the economics of game without just reading the same stuff everyone else is an actual how to and I'd say that pistol u are using is too high lvl for ur skill causing losses and would also be something kinda important to mention is even when you a higher lvl u still need ur low lvl guns too
Maxed UL always best way to go, high efficiency if you want items low efficiency if you don’t, but whatever works for each of us is good as diversity creates a better environment than always following the meta
Such as? And by that i mean. If you can tell me where my information was wrong, I'm more than happy to address them. I'm planning on making a revised version pretty soon.
Karma killer is lvl100 gun. UL guns are good but have to match skills etc. hit 5/10 is Baaad what was pointed out to u already. Thats why those guns are called "noobie traps"....

Really good video Scotty !
Cheers mate! I appreciate the good words
Scotty is on fire 🔥! Excellent content good sir
Thank you kind sir! I'm doing my best and enjoying making the content :)
I'm old school and consider a weapon usable at 7/7.
Hehe np man :) maybe i get myself UL weapon now :D
It's handy to have. And if you do your daily's, you might be able to get most of your L weapons from the daily vendor.
I hardly wait to buy 3k weapon or loot it..UL oc

ya those old school lvl 100 weapons act differently then most ul weapons
Back when I played 5 years ago there used to be really great gun charts based on how eco they were for your level etc. I can't seem to find them now.
I have had the same thought, but I am waiting to find my next level range above the adjusted bukin
you can buy Karma Killer tier 0 @ +50 ped only from auction house-you payed +300 on yours tier 5 or 4 I think so even better
Yeah it's a tier 5, glad I got it.
@@ScottyC93Official accuracy is most important enhancer
@@samomalo8041 yeah? I'll be messing around with enhancer combos in the future.

That's what I like about enhancers too.

If you'll hit it...you'll hit it with turd. hehehehe

@@ScottyC93Official that would be great to see
get the durability up with enhancers on that karma killer. You probably already know/do that, but don't forget!
Oh yeah! I knew I forgot to get something yesterday! Cheers bro

Yeah I think my plan going forward will be to get my L weapons from the daily's.
Make your own L guns :-
