Schools insurance would never allow that, but awesome idea though, BUT the way around the insurance would be to do it as a voluntary weekend “get together at demo ranch” any way to keep it NOT associated with the school

I literally got in that class in 91 and completely rebuild a 79 Honda accord with just the Instrument in that class all while smoking weed, and got a award from Honda headquarters.
Matt, have the class out to the demo ranch, have them do some cool things, feed em burgers and give them merch, You know, do the right thing, you will be glad you did, and it will give them something to talk about for the rest of time.
What a great teacher! When my father passed away I donated all his welding stuff to our high school. The shop teacher showed up in his truck along with every shop student in their truck! What a line of trucks! After the items were loaded up each student shook my hand and thanked me. I was amazed and knew my dad's equipment was very much appreciated. Such respect!
We have a whole school with a big shops for every trade you can think of. Look up Dennis technical education center. It’s In Boise Idaho. I’m currently taking diesel/heavy equipment.
I’m sixty one years old, went to a high school that offered vocational classes been in the A/C trade in Florida all my life, my teacher was Mr Ferguson I will always remember that man.
I had one. He was awesome and took care of all us kids from the poor part of town. Made us see the good in ourselves and gave us hope that we could get out of small town hell if we were willing to work for it. I've called, emailed, and donated to his classes multiple times since graduating. He saved me from myself.
He'd also hold "his kids" accountable. If he heard you were bombing another class, he'd call your study hall and get you sent to his class and make sure you got your work done. Most of us didnt have parents that were nearly as concerned with our grades as he was. "You aren't living up to your potential. If you let this place beat you down and make you quit, you let everyone you can't stand, win. You are better than this and I know it. I'm going to be on you every day until I'm not alone in that belief." I went from barely passing(pure laziness) to honor roll, because of him. I wasn't afraid to leave it all behind and find my place in the world because of the self confidence he instilled in me.

My son watched your vids for years and always talked about them and you. When you come out with the mansion i started watching faithfully. You have that something that people just attract to.
The students have to wonder at times, "Am I wasting time in this class? Or can I learn skills that will enable me to make a living?" And doing all this, Brandon, the teacher, the students, this is valuable feedback to them. I am sure it encourages them to take it all seriously and they get out of high school and go to work like Brandon (or with Brandon?). Good job all around!

Awesome - my high school auto teacher would make me repair and rebuild engines - paint customer cars while others did book and paper work. Woods would have projects like kitchen cabinets- tables and desks to build while others made bird houses and jewelry boxes- metals teacher had me making brackets frames.
Probably not much actually, multi car discounts are fantastic in a 2 driver house. Insurance companies are fully aware that him and his wife are not driving all of them at the same time. We have 5 vehicles and 2 trailers insured for $1800 a year.
