Wow i usually suck with triggers but this video helped me understand them so well. I also have a question, in your level the camera slightly follows the cube, how does that work?
Yo, I'm glad it was helpful!! So, I made a group that contained every object (Plarforms, and background) and I made them move to the opposite direction from the player, and also stop when the player releases the button, or if the player hits a wall. It's really subtle, just to add a bit of depth to the level. Btw, you have to put a limit to it, so it doesn't move too far and starts to cut part of the level. Sorry if it's a bit confusing :D
@@KoDTIFF side scrolling. I managed to fix it though. All I needed to do was make the world the player basically. And have a static block that stays on the same spot on the screen interact with it.
Sorry for this huge period of inactivity. I'm doing well, however I'm not having much time and motivation to make new videos. I work a full time job, and that consumes most of my time. Tho, I still check almost daily for new comments on my videos/levels, and I see I'm almost at 500 subs. I want to come back to YT, and I'm cooking some good video ideas rn. Hopefully it works out! Nice editing, did you use Adobe or other softwares ?
Nope. I used Davinci Resolve for the editing and compositing, and GIMP for making the images, thumbnails etc. Both of them are free to use :D

How do I make it so that instead of the block moving, the world moves around the player? So that I can make a bigger map that you can explore.
You mean like, the world and platforms are always moving (like side scrolling), or you mean like camera movements? (Like when you enter in a new room)
