The only choice he got wrong from the beginning was choosing to take care of Julia instead of leaving that work to a professional caretaker. "If you love someone, let them go" is the saying, I believe. It may be a hard choice, but we must know that love isn't enough to tackle all our problems.

Every time a wake up early on a weekend and it starts raining i consider starting this series again This time just feels right so I decided to do it and it feels great
8 years... wow. I used to watch this gameplay on repeat when I was 16, and coming back to this all these years later just brought tears to my eyes. One of the best games of 2016 and such a great time, would do anything to come back to this era.
I know this video came out over a year ago, but I cannot stress how much this particular let's play means to me. I was in the hospital over the winter break, for three weeks. I had a stomach infection and I was hit with gut-wrenching pain at any hour of the day. I would wake up in the middle of the night and just breathe, watch the clock, watch the minutes trickle by until the pain subsided enough to go back to sleep. My family visited as often as they could. When my dad brought me my laptop, I opened youtube and found this series, one that months before I had watched in my college dorm. I watched it, and was so immersed in the narrative and Mark's commentary that for a while, the hospital room disappeared. I found a sheet of paper and doodled while I listened, like I had all those months before. I felt normal. And I think that was the greatest gift.
i remember being in a mental ward back in march due to my mental illness. i had night terrors that kept me up for hours on end. i was heavily medicated the first couple days so it was a blur. my doctor let me have my laptop after a few sessions and therapy. the first thing i watched was fnaf gameplay by markiplier, i felt relaxed as if i was in my own world. I watched every video he had ever done some more than once. i felt like i wasnt crazy or insane. i felt like everything was okay for once in my life. so i understand how you feel even tho our situations were different
Hot damn I'm only at 10:12 so far and I already am seeing a side of Markiplier that I've never seen before. We share the same sort of ideals, the same commitment to family, and I'm almost fucking in tears just because of what the people in the game are going through and Mark's wholesome take on it. Same lol this my second watch through of this amazing game played by an amazing person. I mostly came back to the funny dialogue and the stories that Mark tells. This is a great thing to do during my quarantine since I'm very lonely when I can't visit my girlfriend or my grandparents to go fishing.

I love coming back each year and rewatching the series during the summer on those hot late night summer days and maybe having a drink cause the game and marks stories remind me a lot of my childhood of always being outside and it’s nice to reminisce every now and then.
The intro in Up was a lot less corny and over-the-top, and didn't seem out of place compared to the rest of the experience. Not to mention the dialogue of the inquisitive woman on the walkie-talkie seemed a bit unbelievable and unprofessional.

Quarantine has put a new perspective on this game, and the dynamic Henry has with Delilah. When I talked to people over voice on Discord, you have no clue how happy it made me. To just- talk to people. When you feel so isolated, even around your own family, it's a relief to talk to other people.
Watching in 2024. The depression and anxiety have me in a chokehold, but...I have to admit I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The bit with Forrest Byrnes, throwing him at the door to stand guard, and everything that followed had me in tears.

11:49 speaking as someone who has a relative with dementia, locking them in the house is absolutely the right choice. If they get out without your knowledge, they could seriously hurt themselves. My grandmother has it and she once left her house and walked about the length of 2 football fields to my house because she thought she was alone in her house. My grandfather was asleep and didn't know she left. She could easily have caught her foot on a rock and fallen and broken her neck. For their safety, they need to be kept somewhere where someone can keep a close eye on them.

Taking care of Mom was hard but my dad dropped everything to do it. She always took care of him. We didn't get to say Goodbye because she went into ICU so quickly. By next day she was unconscious. She never woke back up. Hardest thing I ever did was hold her & say Goodbye with her unconscious, not knowing if she could hear me. Next morning she was gone I jus held her. I apologized for being a shitty kid at times. All I could hear in my head was her telling me: well you got that wildness from your dad lol.
You were never a bad kid, what you did was so sweet and caring. No one will know if your mom heard you, but I’d like to think she did. When I was a kid we lived about 7 miles away from the nearest town. The only neighbors we had were a couple of farmers. The little house we had was surrounded by woods that my dad, sister, and I used to go walking in for hours. Nothing too crazy but decent for Minnesota woods. As often as I could I'd take disposable cameras and take pictures of random stuff. It was never boring therr. The yard had an apple tree which drew in turkeys, deer, possums, and even a bear or two. Occasionally you'd hear wolves or coyotes. Even got to see a stampede of cows because of the neighbors. I really miss that place. The other part of the video that I can really relate with is caring for someone else. I've been staying with my mum to help her. She can't sleep on beds anymore because she's had hernia mesh surgery and it did more harm than good.. She has three more hernias that they can't do anything about because of how bad the first surgery went. She can't get out of the recliner chair she sleeps in by herself, and we've had to install a special seat on the toilet for her. Since the surgery, her legs swell up really badly and occasionally break open which I tend to. While not as bad as this story, it admittedly is hard. It's definitely worth it though. Sorry for the super long comment. This video just really hit home for me. >.
Oh, man. I’m so sorry about that second part... I hope she’s gotten better in the past 6 months! And wow, that first part... I’m in pure wonder. I live in a place nicknamed ‘The Livable Forest’ but in reality it’s just a forest that got partially deforested and had a bunch of buildings shoved in. Sometimes I get to visit my grandparents who live in the country and see wild deer eating the seed they put out for wild animals, or get to visit one spot that’s always been special for me (if you want to know, one area with only a couple buildings around, where the trees entangle and there’s just this beautiful tunnel of green), but I’ve never really gotten to see anything like that. Even where I live, ‘The Livable Forest’, the trees rarely turn colors other than deep brown or pale yellow in the fall. Oh go(sh)d, I did not mean to write that much. Though, it was fun to share a bit of my childhood with someone for once, and to rethink about all the small, unimportant (to others, at least) things that hold true sentimental value to me.

8 years... wow. I used to watch this gameplay on repeat when I was 16, and coming back to this all these years later just brought tears to my eyes. One of the best games of 2016 and such a great time, would do anything to come back to this era.
this was back when i could only get my parents to get me new games like 3 times a year so i found every single detail about this game
I know this video came out over a year ago, but I cannot stress how much this particular let's play means to me. I was in the hospital over the winter break, for three weeks. I had a stomach infection and I was hit with gut-wrenching pain at any hour of the day. I would wake up in the middle of the night and just breathe, watch the clock, watch the minutes trickle by until the pain subsided enough to go back to sleep. My family visited as often as they could. When my dad brought me my laptop, I opened youtube and found this series, one that months before I had watched in my college dorm. I watched it, and was so immersed in the narrative and Mark's commentary that for a while, the hospital room disappeared. I found a sheet of paper and doodled while I listened, like I had all those months before. I felt normal. And I think that was the greatest gift.

11:49 speaking as someone who has a relative with dementia, locking them in the house is absolutely the right choice. If they get out without your knowledge, they could seriously hurt themselves. My grandmother has it and she once left her house and walked about the length of 2 football fields to my house because she thought she was alone in her house. My grandfather was asleep and didn't know she left. She could easily have caught her foot on a rock and fallen and broken her neck. For their safety, they need to be kept somewhere where someone can keep a close eye on them.

Taking care of Mom was hard but my dad dropped everything to do it. She always took care of him. We didn't get to say Goodbye because she went into ICU so quickly. By next day she was unconscious. She never woke back up. Hardest thing I ever did was hold her & say Goodbye with her unconscious, not knowing if she could hear me. Next morning she was gone I jus held her. I apologized for being a shitty kid at times. All I could hear in my head was her telling me: well you got that wildness from your dad lol.

When I was a kid we lived about 7 miles away from the nearest town. The only neighbors we had were a couple of farmers. The little house we had was surrounded by woods that my dad, sister, and I used to go walking in for hours. Nothing too crazy but decent for Minnesota woods. As often as I could I'd take disposable cameras and take pictures of random stuff. It was never boring therr. The yard had an apple tree which drew in turkeys, deer, possums, and even a bear or two. Occasionally you'd hear wolves or coyotes. Even got to see a stampede of cows because of the neighbors. I really miss that place.
The other part of the video that I can really relate with is caring for someone else. I've been staying with my mum to help her. She can't sleep on beds anymore because she's had hernia mesh surgery and it did more harm than good.. She has three more hernias that they can't do anything about because of how bad the first surgery went. She can't get out of the recliner chair she sleeps in by herself, and we've had to install a special seat on the toilet for her. Since the surgery, her legs swell up really badly and occasionally break open which I tend to. While not as bad as this story, it admittedly is hard. It's definitely worth it though.

I had to help take care of my mom when she had pneumonia. It put her in the hospital. She's made a full recover since then.

And wow, that first part... I’m in pure wonder. I live in a place nicknamed ‘The Livable Forest’ but in reality it’s just a forest that got partially deforested and had a bunch of buildings shoved in. Sometimes I get to visit my grandparents who live in the country and see wild deer eating the seed they put out for wild animals, or get to visit one spot that’s always been special for me (if you want to know, one area with only a couple buildings around, where the trees entangle and there’s just this beautiful tunnel of green), but I’ve never really gotten to see anything like that. Even where I live, ‘The Livable Forest’, the trees rarely turn colors other than deep brown or pale yellow in the fall.
Oh go(sh)d, I did not mean to write that much. Though, it was fun to share a bit of my childhood with someone for once, and to rethink about all the small, unimportant (to others, at least) things that hold true sentimental value to me.
