I like it. Looks like a real nice pan. I have several traditional cast iron pans, griddles and dutch ovens, but I may start looking a enameled skillets as well. Thanks for the video. Well done. Good to see I'm not the only one who uses the microwave to pre-cook their taters!
Douglass, yes the enamel skillets are nice and very easy to clean, the microwave comes in handy and is a time saver for frying potatoes, thanks for watching.
I lost my 3 piece cast iron set that were beautifully seasoned like glass recently while moving after 35 years! So this is a blessing to see...thank you so much for sharing....because I bought a new cast iron but I don't have the patience now to b seasoning it...lol...can't wait to get this new one tomorrow online!
To see it so directly. There is a a big deferred between 'Bacon' even danish bacon, and 'Durchwachsener Speck'. The later one is heavily smoket in beech so the aroma is very intense.
We have over 25 pieces of enameled cast iron and love using them! Wonderful for many dishes, but some others are better in seasoned cast iron. The right cast iron for the right dish. We wash our enameled cast iron in soapy water, rinse and just dry them off and allow them to air dry on the counter. No seasoning necessary. Enjoy your Mother's Day gift!
I gotta tell you, I love onions. When I was a kid, we would slice off a quarter inch slice of onion and make onion and catsup sandwiches. Ya'll are making me hungry.
I don't know how did I get here, but that is a great dish, love from TW.
Thanks for watching!

I think the trick is to heat the pan well before adding oil and cooking. I've had problems with mine sticking.
Awesome pan...nothing sticked! I'm going out to buy one!...thank you for sharing
HI LILLIAN, it really is a nice skillet,I don't think you will be disappointed. THANK'S FOR WATCHING.

Looks like a great pan to have! Thank you for sharing!
HI PAUL,it works great,Thank's for watching.
Awesome pan. Never used a porcelain pan b4. Chewy bacon is the way to go.
William, this is the first time i'm using one , it worked great, but that's a no on the chewy bacon lol.
I have a cast iron Dutch oven with the enamel and it's great. (And those potatoes looked great.). Thanks for sharing, be well my friend.
Thank Hatch, I know the potatoes are not very healthy to eat that way but they were so good lol.
You should season the pan. What ever you are cooking is far less likely to stick to the pan.
That's some good taters.
Kevin, yeah can't go wrong with taters lol.
Hi Frank,I agree they are very heavy but I like the way they cook. Thanks for watching.
I gotta tell you, I love onions. When I was a kid, we would slice off a quarter inch slice of onion and make onion and catsup sandwiches.
Ya'll are making me hungry.
Hi Daryl,i like onions but only if they are cooked.
Hi Willian, thanks for watching.I never used one before either but I really liked it.
I have pot like that, cooks great. My wife and daughter don’t like it because it is so heavy.
Frank, it does a good job, but yeah i agree it is very heavy, thank you for watching.
Why did you add oil. The bacon is basically loaded with fat which will liquefy under heat.
Thanks for the comment and watching.
Doesn't the bacon spatter all over the inside of your oven??
Wayne, yeah it does but it's better than splattering all over me lol.
