My favourite dip is spinach dip. I heat frozen spinach until defrosted, pour over the powder of a spring vegetable simmer soup, add a block of cream cheese and stir until melted. Then add a cup of sour cream, 1-2 teaspoons of mayonnaise and a can of finely chopped water chestnuts. Serve in a hollowed out loaf of bread.
Also wack the jar lid edge a few times w/ dinner knife. Helps break the seal.
Thanks for all of your recipes & house ideas. Love to you & your family 💖
Only ever made guacamole, but I love the sound of the baked potato dip!!!!
You've just reminded me it's superbowl this weekend and I have no American treats in! I know I'm in the UK so it's not as popular over here, but you'd think I'd have learnt after 21yrs with a MASSIVE nfl fan! I'm not kidding, he's obsessed 🤦♀️🤣
Cilla the next time you have a jar that is hard to open take the jar turn it upside down and give it a good whack on the counter top and then give the bottom a good each with your hand and that should help you to get the jar open easier
You can also hit the rim with a knife
I just bought a jar opener 😂 no tricks worked for me
Yup the knife things works pretty well too I forgot about that one lol
I have made the sausage dip with the white queso over 100 times already!! I love it! A tip I use to open the queso is I beat it on the ground til I hear a pop.
I make a veggie dip that is delicious. I use 16oz of sour cream, 16oz of Hellman's mayo, 1 packet of the Good Seasons dry mild Italian dressing, and 1 packet of the Good Seasons dry zesty Italian dressing. Mix it all together and let it chill for a few hours or overnight so the flavors really mix together. I love it on carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, really any veggie you like. ❤️❤️
They all look super delicious.
Can NEVER go wrong with queso in this house!!🥰
I’m now required to bring this dip wherever I go!! It’s one of the most amazing, easy things ever!
1 roll jimmy dean hot sausage
12 oz cream cheese
1 can original Rotel, drained
Salt and pepper
Tostitos (scoops are best!)
Brown sausage and drain grease. Add cream cheese, cut into small cubes to melt easier, and the rotel. Melt and stir over medium-med high heat until combined. Season with salt and pepper
Can't choose between taco dip and buffalo chicken dip. Also love funfetti cake dip. Yum
Ground Italian sausage, cream cheese, and Rotel.... you can make it as spicy or mild as you want depending on the kind of sausage and Rotel you use!
Definitely try Buffalo chicken dip, if you haven’t! It’s my family’s favorite. 2 10oz cans of chicken (or 2 cups shredded chicken), 16oz softened cream cheese, 1 cup ranch, 3/4 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce, and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar. Mix it all up, top with cheese, and bake at 350 for 20ish minutes! ❤️
That’s really close to how I make it. I don’t use the ranch but I do add blue cheese crumbles. I like to shred a whole rotisserie chicken from Publix for mine.
You should write a cookbook! :)
I agree x
How many people gotta like this to make this happen cilla?!
I triple agree on this!
I was just watching and thinking the same thing :)
I def agree
I’m a huge fan of you pricilla. 😀
Just dropping by to say how easy it is to regrow green onion... when you use it leave about an inch (or more) on the "stalk" then just place in a glass of water on the window sill, you will be amazed at how fast they regrow. Just cut as needed and replace the water as needed.. you will always have them fresh on hand
Always something good to eat at Cilla's, we love spinach dip at my house, my husband just loves plain hidden valley dip..thanks for sharing!
I make a sun-dried tomato & feta dip/spread that always goes over great any time I bring it anywhere
Can of no bean chili, with a block of velveeta, and just alittle splash of milk. Put it all together in a crockpot(low) let it melt stir occasionally. It’s the best dip ever! 👏🏻👏🏻
That looks so delish!!! The only thing that I would add is sliced kalamata olives to the summer dip. Olives make everything better!! Despite being a Bills fan, I still love the Super Bowl.
Hit that part of jar on counter works every time
Taco dip is a must in my house!
Ugh I hate green onions but I love the jimmy dean/queso dip!!! It is soooooo good!
A baked chicken dip - Knorr veggie soup, mayo, chicken, parmigiana baked dip. It’s SO good on pita bread. It was always my favourite dip.
Blue cheese dip I love watching your videos it brings a bit of light to me especially as I'm having a really bad time so thank you so much for doing these videos the green onion in the UK its called a spring onion xx
I was waiting for a new superbowl snack themed vid!
Looks good. Buffalo Chicken Dip is a favorite at get togethers for my family.
It’s called crack cheese dip/spread...lol Once you start eating it you don’t want to stop...lol
This is always doubled
1. Block cream cheese ( room temp )
1. Jar of your favorite Kraft cheese in the glass jar. ( I use pimento ) so bummed when they quit making the bacon one
Directions: Use hand mixer to whip up cream cheese until smooth add your jar cheese mix until well blended. Refrigerate at least a good hour before serving with your favorite crackers or bread sticks.
Optional: you can make a ball and roll this in nuts of your choice and make a cheese ball. I have someone one in my group that is highly allergic to nuts so I don’t. If you do refrigerate again for 30 minutes.
I’m always ask to bring this
Love the top your wearing
Gonna have to try these! 😋
I know this has nothing to do with this video but I have tried so many kinds of makeup and just about all of them burn my face. Is your makeup brand easy on the face that doesn’t cause the burning? I have mild rosacea and can use makeup with warm undertones.
I love avocado toast
My idea of a super bowl is a toilet that cleans itself. Fun recipes, Cilla!
Rotel dip with ground beef
Is that the same Jimmy Dean dip you have done before? 😋
Your taste buds change every 7 years. Also for those who don’t like sour cream, you can substitute Greek yogurt in its place.
You should cook your bacon on a sheet pan in the oven. Super duper time saver
Oohhh LOVE those nice close up shots! I left that comment on Cilla’s last video. I like to think you saw it ;) these look so good! Although I don’t like football I love me some dips!!
Clam dip
Veggies and hummus, great healthy alternative for those watching our waistline
I have a great homemade hummus if you’re interested, it’s delicious
Is the recipes any where.
Hamburger cheese dip
The "bake potato dip" we call crack dip and we put it in a bake potato!!!!
Dog shit dip is one of my family's favs. Canned chili and cream cheese 🤤
Differences between Canada and the US - I don’t think we have mild queso, seriously. I think I have only ever seen Tostitos medium.
I'm in Texas and I've never seen tostitos mild either. All we have is medium in grocery stores. But we make this dip in the crockpot with velveeta and rotel with sausage. Never even crossed my mind to use the jar stuff lol
@@tiffyl4910 I make this the same way you do and it's SO good, I never thought about the jar stuff either..now im curious lol
@@Megan-sk2li this will sound like a ridiculous statement seeing as how velveeta is a highly processed "cheese food" lol, but the jar stuff tastes so processed/chemically to me 😂. But next time I make the velveeta kind, I'll have to get a jar of tostitos queso and save a small amount of sausage and try mixing a small amount of it lol. At least we know the tostitos kind would stay pliable for more than 30 minutes outside a crockpot so that's one thing going for it I suppose. I'm envisioning my family's outrage at the next family function if I showed up with "canned garbage", as they call canned chip dip except bean dip lol
we have one with canned chicken ,corn ,cilantro ,avocado and lots of lime 😋
Yay I'm early. Hey Cilla
Is it storming out side your window???
⛈️🌧️🌩️
I do a queso dip with jimmy dean too! I use velveeta cheese, rotel diced tomatoes with lime juice and cilantro, pico de gallo, green onion, green chili, and some home made taco seasoning!!
Yes!!! Much better than that jar stuff yuck
Go Mahomes
We call them spring onions green onions are like the red onions
I don't even really cook anymore, but I just love watching these videos they're so relaxing, feels like I've just popped round to auntie 'Cilla's house
Great video. Thanks for sharing! 😊 Buffalo chicken dip is one of my favorites
Single lady tip for jars, bang the top ridge of the cover repeatedly and all around with a metal spoon! That's what my grandmother always did.
I was going to say this. 😄
GO CHIEFS!!! Diehard fan born and bread!! I’m doing sausage balls and spinach artichoke dip. Thinking about one more thing. Again GO CHIEFS ❤️🏈💛
My small group at church had a picnic at a park today. Everyone was supposed to bring a dip and there was a competition for the best dip. I usually buy dips and not make them so I wasn't sure what to do. Then I remembered this video and came back to it for help. I made the baked potato dip one. It got the most votes and I won a giftcard. Thank you Priscilla. It was sooo good. They're wasn't any left to bring home and my husband asked if I had ingredients to make more. I did so I made some more for us at home.
My favorite dip is an artichoke dip. It’s 4 ingredients. One 14oz can of artichokes in water, chopped, one 6-7oz can of chopped green Chili’s, one cup shredded cheddar cheese and one cup Mayo (I use Helman’s light Mayo). Mix all the ingredients and place in a oven proof dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips, Scoops work best. I have to make up to 4x the amount because it goes so fast at a party. Even those who hate artichokes, love this dip.
To open a jar: take a spoon and tap around the edge of the lid then it will open easily! #dontneedaman haha
Skyline chili dip is our family favorite! That baked potatoless dip looks yummy!
P.S. you guys are great and thank you for what you guys do.
My mom used to make a bean dip and I make it New Years Eve ever year. It's super easy.
1lb hamburger, browned
16oz Mexican velveeta
1 can refried beans
Milk (the amount is personal preference on how thin you want it)
Melt and mix everything together and eat with your favorite corn chip. We like On The Border Cantina chips.
I also love my "7" layer dip
1 can refried beans
1 pkg taco seasoning
2 avocado, mashed
Juice of 1 lime (mixed with avocado)
Small jar salsa (I use Pace medium)
Chopped jalapeno (amount is up to you)
12oz sour cream
Shredded cheddar or Mexican blend
Tomatos, diced
Green onion, sliced
Black olives, sliced
Layer in order and serve with Tostito scoops!
My family loves my taco dip: layer the bottom of an aluminum throw away pan w/ refried beans, add sour cream mixed w/ taco seasoning, then add taco seasoned beef ( optional), chopped lettuce, tomatoes, mexican shredded cheese , black olives or what ever else you desire:) Asa would probably love taco dip! Thank you for another great video!!
Thanks for sharing! That sounds delish!
Sounds delicious!!
The best
Great video thanks for sharing and as always stay safe and God bless love ya Nancy
Ok a couple things. 1...this looks amazing and im going to make it. 2. Your shirt is sooo cute! 3. Your family is so lucky to have you
Butter knife. That’s how I open jars. If you can pop the seal, the lid will twist off much easier.
First comment love your vlogs
I am in my early 20s and have lived on my own for a couple of years. I haven't really cooked because I didn't know where to start. I have learned so much from watching your channel this past year or so! Thank you so much! These recipes that you share will stick with me forever! Thank you so much!
cilla you should try to make the tik tok feta cheese pasta that’s trending right now
Spinach Artichoke=🥰
We love taco dip. In a 9x12 baking dish layer these:
2pk cream cheese
2lbs Hamburger with 1 pk taco seasoning (or ground turkey) (or 1lb hambuger 1lb sausage)
1jar of your fav chunky salsa
2pks Mexican shredded cheese
Dolup of cream chees (I do 6, 3 on both sides of dish
1 can sliced black olives
Serve with tortilla chips of your choice along with lime wedges and sliced avocado!
Enjoy!
Looks wonderful ❤❤❤👌👍
My favorite dip is always Tzatziki - Greek yoghurt (Fage/Total), shredded cucumber, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt, dill. Pita triangles and cucumber slices for scooping up the dip!
The bake potatoes dip we cal the millions dollar dip
BLT DIP!!
16 oz. sour cream
16 oz. mayo
2 plum tomatoes, diced and deseeded
bacon bits (or freshly chopped bacon)
Serve in a lettuce bowl with fritos scoops
My fave is artichoke dip! Cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, garlic, onions, artichoke hearts, parm cheese & bake it. All the ones you made look delicious!
I love my sausage dip:
Neeses sausage mild (NC Staple)(cook before adding)
Cream cheese 16 oz
Velvetta 1/2 black
Rotel drained 2 cans
Salt & pepper in a crock Pot
Ok Aussie here 🙋🏻♀️ what is jimmy dean sausage?? Is it just like a ground beef?? And the yellow sauce with it, I have no idea what that is or what to get that is similar.. HELP PLEASE
My go to dip is, a jar of salsa if your choice, a block of Velveeta, and lb of burger or Jimmy deens....
Fry the meat, mix the rest in a slow cooker or on the stove. And boom. Super good on any chips
Or... a can of 🌶 and a block of cream cheese. Mix in slow cooker
I’m going to make these this week just because why not on a Wednesday? lol 😂 Also #1 invest in an adjustable jar opener, my mother in law gave me one and i still have it today and it’s a lifesaver! #2 cook the bacon in the oven on a cookie sheet, space save, time saver and clean up super easy, I learned about that about a year ago & so grateful I did! #3 I too love green onions I hate cuting them even with my Henkel knives that were like a car payment so I use kitchen scissors - I have a pair just for green onions and herbs like the fresh parsley and cilantro- again time and frustration saver! Any who great recipe ideas so I just wanted to share some help ideas too to make your life easier!
Corn relish or gherkin dip is my favourite but my kids love "taco dip" which is just basically everything you would put in tacos or on nachos, layered in a pan and then corn chips on the side.
Corn relish????
Corn relish dip, you will definitely find a recipe on Google, however I just make my own at home the way my Nanna taught me, a small jar of corn relish, and a pack of cream cheese on low heat till both combine, then you pop it into your dip container and let it set in the fridge, I've also tried making it with creamed corn and dill pickles but you really need that corn relish flavour.
@@rissole799 thank you so much!! Once I was done reading this, I had a vision of stuffing it into chicken breats and baking 😁
@@ElizabethHernandez-hw6zu omg I never thought to use it like that 🥰🥰🥰
Your 26 thumbs downs are probably folks from what you called the "wrong coast." I've lived on both coasts and if Cali is wrong I don't ever want to be right.
Villa stuff & things - really -im wondering if you really did anything like this - or is it in the vlog as a way to make money - where is Abbey - aren't you going to force her to join in - for ratings??? The more I watch the videos the sicker to my stomach I become -, you guys must think you are celebrity status - Cilla & Ace - don't forget to include the daughter you excluded from your life - shame on you!
I make a BLT dip. It's just equal amounts of sour cream and mayonnaise. Then add diced tomatoes. I usually used a can of them drained. Then I buy the real bacon pieces not the bacon bits though. Mix that all together and have it sit at least 4 hours, but overnight is best. Serve with tortilla chips or I like wheat thins. It is soooo yummy
I love how she says avocado 😂💜
Her voice always sounds like she has a lot of saliva or needs to clear her throat. I'm over here swallowing and nnn...nnnn (throat clearing) 😂 The whole time. Yeah,I grew up in Cali and the was she says 🥑.....😂
Spinach and artichoke
Shredded chicken buffalo dip....., love your channel!
McCormick Bac’n Bits are vegan so it would be SO easy to make the baked potato dip vegetarian!! Save the white ends of those green onions, stick them in some water and they will regrow!
So the dip my husband and I love is super easy and we put it in a mini crock pot.
1lb sausage browned
1lb cream cheese
1 can rotel tomato’s and chili’s
Sometimes usually get mild stuff but you can use hot or medium.
Sausage cheese dip. 1 large block of velveeta cheese or generic brand, 1 roll of sausage and 1 can of rotel with diced chilis. You can put you cheese and rotel in crock pot then fry your sausage. When done add to crockpot. If you are ever in a hurry just heat your cheese and rotel in microwave. If you double the recipe buy the large can of rotel
I like your tacos but I will leave the iPad without the thing because I do not like other pills. Do you not like all appeals but I like everything else in there except for onions I do not like onions in my food because I have a heartburn of food but my stomach cannot hold a lot of hot stuff or onions but I like everything goes in except for the onions and the heart. I'm not having a hot pretty in person like you guys are so but I like your cooking though but I want some recipes but something doesn't have any jalapenos I know you guys eat a lot of that crap but I don't know how to pronounce because I have a bad stomach problems up. This and stuff like that so so I know Jackie Johnson
Chicken wing dip! From Buffalo ny it's a favorite for us buffalo people especially game day!
We like to melt a 1# block of cream cheese into a can of hormel chili without beans and use tostada chips... mmm good Detroit suburb Michigan
Awesome thank you!
Us single girls just sit there crying for 20 min cuz we hungry and can't open things. Then we get angry and use that to help us open the jar
Those all look great!! Yummm! 😍👍🏻
I like veletta cheese dip
Put Some water in the jar en put the lit on en shake it , than you can poor the left sauce easy out of the jar ( sorry for my English I’m from Holland )
Yum!! Spinach dip and layered dip are life at my house! 🎉
I've made that Jimmy dean one before but I've used ground beef, velveeta brick cheese and rotel you can even make it in the crock pot it's so so good
Our favorite dips are corny chip dip and BLT dip. Can't wait to try the 3 you made!!
We love Buffalo chicken dip also we make a crab meat and cocktail sauce mix spread over cream cheese yummy,
