Don't it hurt there aint a proper music video for this version. Still after all this time it haunts me how much this song means to me. I was at school in East London 1993 and this was one of them songs that changes you as a kid growing up. I still cant deal with how great his vocals are and just that lead that wobbles, you know the one. The pads and strings just make it so dreamy yet banging at the same time. Just a very very special production that will be with me till my end days.
Frikin hell brother...i feel exactly the same..my heart brakes when i think of these times..life was so much easier...great times..you bought tears to my eyes lol
While this group did have a top 75 hit in their native US in 1990, this song didn't do anything over there. It was more popular in the UK, reaching the top 20.
This is a classic tune. No where given Enough credit . Massive 90's track. Great Times great music. Memories. If only we could go back. Totally underrated song I agree. 🎵
This is such an underrated tune! It just sums up the 90's for me. If I close my eyes, its the summer of 93 and I'm chilling with my mates in a park somewhere in East London. Happy memories ❤
@@EzzyDT it's a farce but you could screen record it then convert the file from MP4 to MP3 and put it on iTunes using a PC or Mac. Only works for personal use
I have ZERO idea how I've never heard this until 2023. I loved my house back in the 90s and just don't have this on any of my tapes whatsoever. I need to go to jail! Such a happy, summer vibe to this tune.
whenever i play this at the club, my lips quiver as i sing along, i don't bother holding back the tears, i let them drip on the mixer so i bless it with my emotions
Another forgotten brilliant early 90s Piano garage Soul full rave dance anthem by the Superb Aftershock Slave to the vibe Even in 2024 old skool forever
I remember I got the Now That's What I Call Music 1993 tape when I was 12. This was my favourite song on the album. I think it was a slightly slower version, but I remember listening to this in bed on my Walkman at night. It's a timeless classic.
Watched these guys perform this song at the "Paladium" in Las Vegas back in 1991, which is when the song actually came out. It stayed around on the house scene for a few years longer than the group stayed in the public eye shortly after the release... ;-)
I love UA-cam. An random track appears in your head for no reason and 30 seconds later I’m dancing in the kitchen to it. What a tune. I’m 18 again.
This tune has always been criminally under-rated.
always wondered who this was until i see an old 90s top of the pops...classic tune!
@d b
Watched 1993 TOTPS rerun today and I'm here because of that.
One of the best 💯 unique track, better days ;)

Exact reason why I have UA-cam premium and not Spotify or Apple Music, they only have commercial crap

Great memories to this track come back the 90s I miss you.
Great tune. It was an era of midnight synths, married with RnB vibes and a house music tempo. It couldn't be more mid 90's if it tried.
So many good memories!
