I really enjoyed your selection of projects. It’s nice to see someone choosing intricate more difficult projects that are unique. It’s nice to see something I haven’t seen already! 😊
I’m so happy to hear it! I know most of my projects is different than lots of others do so I was worried people would not like it 😅 so again thank you so much for your comment ✨
Oh my gosh! I have a complaint!!! I CANNOT CROSS STITCH WHILE I WATCH YOUR VIDEO. I have to knit. I soooo enjoyed actually watching. You do a wonderful blend of showing projects and talking about accessories. I’m definitely mentioning you in my next flosstube. So glad the horrible algorithms brought you to me❤ great idea about putting a gift in the bunny hands. 🎉 I own an estate sale business and came across a lot of beads and Krinik. I talk about my finds and how I will keep, sell, and gift some of the stuff I get. It’s so much fun! Thanks for sharing.
I really like your variety of cute and pretty projects. I understand your frustration with the Belfast linen. The irregularities in linens make it not my favorite to stitch on, I much prefer evenweaves. Keep going, because even though looking at your piece closely with the irregular stitches, it is so pretty.
Thank you so much! Evenweave/ Lugana also my fav but I wanted to see what this one is all about 😀 I’m starting to get use to it but still in my future projects it will not be my first choice 😀😀
Hello Katya……hello from Canada 🇨🇦 Your stitching is lovely. I like the variety of your wips….they are all different and beautiful! I look forward to seeing more of your work. Also- the cat is purrrfect too 😍
I just found your channel and love your work and ideas. Looking forward to see how you finish the little rabbit and how you cut it out on the plastic. It seems like it would be hard not to cut your work? Can't wait to see what you do next. Thanks for sharing,.
In my latest videos I’ve showed how I finish it! It takes time and patience and my cut out wasn’t perfect, but more you stitch on plastic easier it gets 😊
Hi, great video, I also work on the Entchanted Realm from CCS but on Aida :D yours looks great. As for the fabric, I am quite sure that Caterpillar cross stitch are using Zweigart fabrics :)
Thank you so much! ☺️ yes! I want to see full finish in that one too - I want to try do a flag per 2 weeks so I’ll definitely will have all 12 by October !
I love the Harry Potter flags! Can you tell me where you found the pattern for them? I know you said the name of the designer, but I just couldn't quite catch it. I like the variety of your projects. Your stitching is beautiful!
go my mybobbin. com and search for Wizard Flags Set Cross Stitch Pattern Brand: Elena Lartsova she has lots of amazing patterns and more seasonal flags, some day I’ll get and stitch them all but first I need to finish this ones 😀
For your metallic threads, try using a larger needle. It may make the hole larger and easier for your thread to go through. The hole will close up as you stitch around it. I really enjoy your videos!
@@RedsStitchery I think it was Vonna Pfeiffer (Twisted Stitchery on UA-cam) who said to pick the size of the needle to work with your thread, not your fabric. It helped me on various projects.
Hi Katie, I very much enjoy your videos. You are very productive in your stitching and I like that you try different things. I’ve never tried the beading like the Mill hill bead kits. I’ve been interested in trying them, but I like easy stitching. I don’t like kits as a rule so I’m still holding out on that.😊 but you do beautiful stitching, and I’m glad that I found your site happy stitching this week
I enjoyed your presentation so much. You have very sweet voice and such a calm style of sharing. I also enjoyed your variety of projects and believe you stitch beautifully! Thanks for sharing!
🦉 I feel the same about wool/Acrylic thread. But I love the Riolis and Luca-s designs. So, I’ve just been dealing with it but I definitely don’t like working with this thread. You have beautiful wip projects going. Looking forward to see more so I’m following. 🤗🌼🛎️
I don’t know what happened there with wool thread I used to stitch with it a lot but I guess with time we changed 😀 I definitely will keep stitching what I have but I think 10 times before I get another kit 😀😀
Your videos are so well done…your projects and your explanations of them are very interesting…thank you for sharing your time and talents! I would love to see a WIP parade sometime…or your kits!
Thank you for talking about the threads! 😊 I had a feeling that was what you were doing, and I don’t mind them sticking out at all :) Watching these videos while cross stitching is so inspiring!
Lot of nice project you are doing. I do not know if someone already told you that the fabric you don't know what is! Is linen very used in Denmark where I live
I really enjoyed your video. I’m a huge Teresa Wentzler fan..practically the first project I ever stitched was a TW..The Castle. I’d love to join in with your group, if it’s permitted?
First project TW?😱 that’s brave, amazing!!! Group is closed for new participants and it’s in a different language:( There is TW group on Facebook where other stitchers share with progress :)
I’ve tried but my eyes doesn’t focus right and it destructs me more, but I know it helps lots of other stitchers! I found my way finally and now I can enjoy black canvas 😊
I enjoy your voice, your style and content. I agree with one of the above commenters… I cannot cross stitch during your videos… I knit too… you share so much… thank you!
Hello! Love your dedication to no buy, I know how hard it is! I am not a “ Parker”. I learned 30 years ago the old way, and I would be so grateful if you could show us how you manage the other threads while stitching. Also how you handle a big jump of the color, and what you do if the stitch area is only 2,or 3 stitches. Love learning from everyone!
It is hard I have one more moth of no buy and I’m afraid for my bank account because my cart is already full 😂 but may be I’ll change my mind :) Thank you for your suggestion!
When stitching with metallic fiber consider using Thread heaven or a wax and a larger needle to push the fabric threads open and use short lengths of metallic fiber, like 12 inches. I agree that linen is over rated. I do think it's a must for smalls, such as little pillows and needle keeps.
Katie, I loved all your projects you are working on. When you were showing the old Dimensions project you said you were about 45% done. How do you know your percentage? I heard you can email Simplicity to get PDFs of Dimensions charts but I found out they no longer are doing that. Can you please advise? Thank you!
Hi! Thank you so much! I use Cross Stitch Saga app - I found pattern online it has some mistakes so I constantly match it with real pattern, but I use this app for almost all of my WIPs if it’s possible and it does tells you how many % done :)
@@RedsStitchery sometimes, when i have more of the same color to do, I don’t even do this. I just make a halve cross, snip the thread and secure it with the other halve cross with the new thread 😂

I really love your videos. Question. With your “lazy parking”. You don’t runout of floss from the kits?? It’s always my fear with my kits so I’m super conservative. Stay strong. You will make your 3 months. . Ps. I love my wood frame for mill hill Yes. Pricy but worth it.
Hello! Yes usually kits put extra floss and I never go too far usually it 3-5 squares same length if I would cut it Thank you! I’m trying it’s almost been 2 months 🙈 one more to go 💪 I have one frame from mill hill and I’m not happy about the price and then not even include paper holders and I had to tape my work to it, I found great alternative on Amazon’s for like $6 I think, the only thing if I want any colors I’ll had to color it myself which is ok :)
Thank you for mentioning the magnetic hoops and where to buy. I’ve never seen those before!
Game changer for stitching on plastic and paper! It was my best cross stitch purchase of 2023 :)
I believe, that if the selvage of the fabric is stitched in orange, the fabric was produced by Zweigart.
If you can't see the pattern use printer to enlarge it makes it much easier! Love your channel very calming and peaceful!
Most of the time I use cross stitch saga app but yes I used to use this method too!

A needle with a bigger eye (may) help as you bring the metallic thread through the fabric. They can be a challenge. Your pieces are beautiful!
Thank you! I’ll try that !
Your cross stitching is gorgeous ❤ I cross stitch everything now on evenweave I find it easy for me to see. Have a lovely week x

The blue fabric looks like a 32 count murano evenweave by zweigart. This is also my favourite type of fabric to work on 😊 lovely video
I wish it was Murano 😀 but it Belfast I really wanted to try it since so many people like it but I don’t think it’s for me(
@RedsStitchery Belfast linen usually looks a lot thinner than the blue fabric you had shown, which is why I thought it was murano evenweave

Stitching on black is easier if you use a light board underneath. The kind used for tracing and diamond art
