Morning, after watching your videos,,I'm so much more aware of what I'm buying,,,I went threw my freezer and looked what I have,,,plan meals,,I have almost empty my freezer,,then going to stock up again,,thank you for the helpful tips,,can we see more cooking? Have a great weekend.
Good morning! I was so happy to find a new video this morning from you!! I enjoyed shopping with you and seeing what is available in Canada and what is different up there than here in the states. I was surprised at all the pumpkin spice items! I’ll have to check those out in our grocery store.
FYI..Instead of buying Dawn Powerwash refills... just make your own refills. IT CONTAINS DAWN LIQUID, RUBBING ALCOHOL AND WATER. Give this a try and it will save you some money. 😊
You are very fortunate to be able to afford to buy what you want to eat. For me, not so much but the upside is that I cannot over feed myself (even if I want to) and the consequences is healthy weight by default.
Great video, Darlene! Chock full of all kinds of interesting things. I chuckled when I saw the old pay phone...haven't seen one of those in forever! And I was thinking that the thrift store might be your best bet to find a perfect statement piece to hang in your living room...I often see beautiful framed art and paintings in my thrifting travels. Thanks for showing the kitchen aid hand mixers on sale...it prompted me to check my local Walmart to see if we have them on sale...and they did! I promptly ordered one for myself for Christmas, lol : ) Great seeing the pups as always...glad they can get in on the PSL craze, too, with their special cookies!
Hi Darlene, greetings from Louisiana . A friend of mine always uses 2 or 3 different varieties of apples for her delicious apple pies! Her apple pie is wonderful ! Apples at $.77 per pound would be a great time to try it! I love your videos!🍎🍏🥧
Good morning Darlene love the video I’m going to start organizing my freezers thanks for the motivation to get around to doing this I really appreciate your videos have a great day 😊
Have you ever made a galette? I like pie but don't make them, I make a galette instead. I use the rolled up pie crust that you purchased. I think your new freezer looks great, a good size. Thanks for sharing!
Our Walmart has gone way down in quality and products available. I bought two items (both jarred) and both were crusty inside! Didn’t bother to take it back because that’s an hour of my time driving, and then in the store. I just won’t shop there at all any longer. This was my first time into one in two years and confirmed my previous decision. Good yours still has items in date that are not crusty!
Darlene, which Metro is this? Ours does not have any pumpkin spice anything! Even your Food Basics looks like it has way more inventory than here in Essex County. Great video as well!!!
I don't know about your Walmart but mine has very little of their name brands. In the States there Walmart carry tons of store brands. Loved your video. Have a wonderful weekend 😀 👋🇨🇦
I'm in NB and we also have Habitant soups. It's crazy the prices of everything lately. I always watch for sales and try to make sure I'm getting the most for my money. My mom and I have been wanting roast beef but the prices are insane, I'm thinking we might get a big pack at Costco, it's more money but we could cut them down into smaller sizes and freeze them individually and get more meals for our money and likely in the long run it won't really be that much more.
I used to know so many regular prices and when things were on sale. Now that groceries are so much higher, I just don't know anymore and I have to decide how much I am willing to pay for items when I am in the store. I have started buying even more store brand items to help me save.
We are going to see beetlejuice Beetlejuice tonight pretty sure! We saw the oreo cola and hubby picked it up and put it in the cart. I was like ummmm NO, All yours 😂😂😂. We got almost to checkout and next I see he took it out and put it back. He's like your right think I'll skip it becuz daughter also said yuck dad lol. I can remember when you could get a 24 pk of Pepsi or Dr Pepper for $5 on sale. We use to drink tea tell it hit sale then buy 2 if each and we was good a long time.

Yes, you will be seeing more cooking. This is part of why I wanted to get organized because I enjoy my kitchen so much more when there is order to it.
@@APeekInside can't wait to see what meals you have planned 🙃
Love your fur babies so cute

Yes, I am very fortunate.

I love the cheesecake factory buns! My in-laws have gotten them from the store (we don't have a close restaurant to us).
Good morning Darlene ! You are looking great! Love all your video content!

Thanks for the tip. That's a great idea.

It really is hit or miss. One store has something and another one has nothing.

I know a lot of people that do that.

Some store brands really are the brand names but there are a few things that I am pretty loyal to the brand name.

Our Walmart shelves sometimes are not stocked.
So frustrating.
I shop early so it's usually pretty stocked from the night crew but if I go in the afternoon or evening it's a different story.
Hello 😊❤
Amazing seeing the prices in Canada are high like in US
Prices are high in many countries. I am pretty sure it all has to do with the pandemic from what I have heard many economists say.
