On these long rainy days, I sit and watch these videos trying to glean knowledge for my own self, but I only wanted to send you one message!!😂 just know I’ve enjoyed a couple of these today😂😂😂
LOL I HAD TO REWATCH THAT, Leave it Beaver , Keen 😂 What?! You don’t say keen?! Ha ha ha you guys are hilarious. Ian Steppler type boxes 😂😂, well ventilated. Good bees, bad boxes :) I certainly threw Cory under the bus right off the mark but he pulled through ! I also broadcasted an illegal act being shipped internationally, tagged Cory on UA-cam !!! It’s was all a for the show lol
bare with me guys, I'm in process of prototyping a mall Moffett style lifter that would move up to a 4 way pallets of singles, 2 ways with doubles and supers, it'll drive and size wise is simular to a ZTR 54" mower and priced in $5 grand range.
My witch hazel doesn't have catkins. It has a spidery type flower (real thin long petals). Blooms in Jan/Feb when we've had a few warmish winter days. I could send you some saplings.
Do you think it’d grow down here? I do t know much about witch hazel. I intend to plant a bunch of black locust on a hillside a bit to steep to bush hog this fall.
I’m all about ADHD and hyper focus, but I can’t sit still and read a book. I listen to audio books while working on a project because it’s hard for me to do one thing at a time. I did notice recently that listening to the audio book, while working, limits my squirrel moments. A good pair of headphones and some semi-loud music is what got me through college. One distraction instead of twenty.
I thought both part one and part two of the Cory Stevens videos were great. It's always great to watch two knowledgeable bee people have a conversation about bees. Have you seen Fredrick Dunn's interview with Dr. Zachary Lamas? It goes into a whole different thought pattern of how V. are actually moving around on drones and how fast drones have been seen to move from hive to hive. It's really very interesting and may be a game changer. It's really amazing to see the things that are being done to study bees. Thanks for the videos.
Love the video. I’m ADD real bad also. I get so focused on something that I think the building could be on fire and I wouldn’t notice. Plus the fire department would have to drag me out if I wasn’t finished with what I was focused on.
Good video Nathan. I have the same issue with reading, once I start something good and can't quit. So I don't pick up a book very often. LOL You guys sure cracked some good jokes there and had some fun. Thanks for sharing.
ADHD and HYPER FOCUS use to be called a very successful solid individual in the old days... doesn't matter what happens you get into the guts of it and figure it out! Good job guys
@DuckRiverHoney sorry about that Nathan, my fat fingers on these little keys. Yes there are two species that are common in the U.S., one is Corylus avens and the other is Corylus Americana. The former produces bigger nuts but requires at least USDA Zone6 to grow well, the latter will survive at zone 4b but the nuts are very small......not that the bees care one jot.

Loved the video. Informative and funny. I remember the shipping stories to Ian. Awesome.
Thanks Rod!
The bleeping out was hysterical! ROFL
Good stuff Thanks for sharing. You plan on ever selling queens.
I hope to sell queens next year. I want to get into breeding, not just producing queens.
Good stuff!
Thanks Luke!
"Bee Sting Bingo", "Double Tap", and "Unholy Language" I've learned so much today ;)
🤣🤣🤣. We had a good time
You must of stayed those brood frame pulls because that was pretty impressive brood
Tight managed queens, boots them if one gets the sniffles

Interesting.
I'm a couple hour drive from Cory... I need his feral drones to migrate over to my area since he always seems to be sold out.
Lol

Daydreaming is my nemesis.
The bleeps lol😂😂😂
I’m glad somebody else thinks it’s funny. I think it’s hilarious 😆. My wife would probably just roll her eyes at me.
I love a good ol bleep insert video every now and again!
🤣👍
I really wish in part 2 we could have heard Corey explain how he likes to handle his queens.
He doesn’t like grabbing them by the legs so he holds them by the thorax.
I am curious about #2...how did she doo?
3+ no mites, but we only counted 100 cells instead of going for 200 so she can’t be a 4

I haven’t watched that one yet, but it’s on my list. Thanks!

I am the same way Dave. When I get started into something it drives me nuts to get pulled away before I finish.

Thanks Russell! I love reading Louis L’Amour novels. But I don’t have have time to read much these days.

Awesome, thanks
What if everyone realizes that honey is actually bad for humans along with the plants in your garden.
