- BALEAL, é uma pequena península a norte da cidade de Peniche, no ditrito de Leiria.
Com praias de extenso areal, banhadas a norte e sul por águas límpidas, com um cheiro único e uma atmosfera especial.
A ilha, pequena, é habitada sobretudo no Verão, onde encontramos uma edificação especial, a Casa das Marés, que é a única unidade hoteleira, e ainda a Capela de santo Estevão.
A praia do Baleal oferece condições excepcionais para a prática de surf, tendo sido aqui que surgiu a primeira escola de Peniche para o ensino daquele desporto.*Carlos Pais*2016
BALEAL, it's a small peninsula in the north of the city of Peniche, Leiria ditrict.
With long sandy beaches, lapped by clear waters with a unique smell and a special atmosphere.
The island is small and mainly inhabited in the summer, where we find a special building, the House of Tides, which is the only hotel unit and also the Santo Estêvão Chapel.
