I've owned this for a month. Easy to connect to xbox controller. If you want a headset to work with it you just plug in headset to controller but you must connect the controller to the xbox. If it's not wired to the system headset will not work. Their phone app is fairly simple to use so you can make changes like button mapping, gyro control, sensitivity, plus other things. Now my problem was that when ever the rumble function got too intense the Armor-X Pro would just shut down. Huge and very irritating problem in the middle of an FPS game. I would have to turn on, then off and then on again for it to start working normally. This would happen 2-3 times in a 3 hour gaming session. My controller is always connected to xbox so it is not the battery charging problem. As of last night, 12/4, the Armor-X Pro just stopped working. The back buttons are unresponsive and even though the app recognizes the controller as it being connected it the Armor-X Pro would just not accept any commands. That was my last straw. Maybe I just got a bad one but I would love to see a review for this item after it being used for a good amount of time. Hope anyone else who purchased or will purchase has better luck.
Yea thats the problem with reviewing controllers all through the year I cam use each one for months on end. I think you got a bad one sounds like the vibration losses somethingup internally. They have a discord and they where pretty frequent on responding when I had questions before I made the video maybe reach put to them or if it's under warranty use that thing lol
I've always said it, gyro aiming is the optimal way of aiming with a controller. I say that a PC player, sometimes I just wanna relax, some games play better on a controller (like Zelda or Horizon for example), I've finished Tomb Raider Reboot with a pro controller configured with gyro aiming enabled when I press the right trigger (so when I use my bow, I can aim with the gyro) and it felt like the best of both worlds really. I've seen some people using gyro and being able to be as precise as they are with a mouse. I genuinely think that whenever people will get used to it, maybe then there will be no use in separating console and PC players as precision and aim assistance always was the thing that made playing together an issue. Gyro aiming really does mean there's no need for aim assist, it's THAT precise. People hate it without trying because « muh motions bruh » but see, you tried and saw that it's legit. And since the new Xbox controller that has leaked seem to have a gyro in it, it's only a matter of time before it gets widely accepted, especially since it's really just an option.
The only problem is that with this device the aim assist will not be deactivated. If your console game does not have the option to turn it of. This is because this device only translates rightstick to gyro. Gyro as a mouse is way better in my opinion. i use this device and a xim nexus on xbox. but given the choice i much rather use gyro as a mouse on pc with eitther a dualsense edge or the big big won blitz controller (wich is behaving like a switch pro controller on steam).
I play pubg mobile with gyro, And atleast 95-98% of our clan member uses gyro for presice aim- Its not a gimmick 😶 Just need some time for muscle memory to capture.

Did anyone trtied this with Genshin Impact, I know that Genshin impact does not have Gyro aiming programmed in game, but since its an add-on to the gamepad I am hoping it can work. So does soemeone who play genshin Impact nad have this try it in game on PC.
i do not use macros for gamming sorry. my set up is followed m2-A, m4-X, m3-Y, M1-b. I use tactical in button lay out so my right joystick in make me slide and I never have to take my thumbs of joysticks. no with the new game I haven't played with this controller yet but I would set it up the same expect I would set up m1 as bag open since that is used a lot in the new looting system.

see, the reason why i only use apps from the playstore is security..... now that they have a off market apps make it kinda shady about the information they collect

@@PughsReview I also found something out by myself. If you plug your headset into the controller as normal and then connect the controller to the console with a cable via the ARMOR-X, it works 👍 then you don't need a stick anymore if it's connected via cable.

Go into app permissions from info there a box that says remove permissions free up space unlock that and also make sure you bluetoth is on. Just on don't try to connect it through Bluetooth but it does need to be on. And the controller of course.
I'm kinda doubtful about getting this because it supposedly requires a dongle to work which is problematic because a regular Xbox Series X controller can connect with Bluetooth

No it does not work with wired headset. I was told by one person if you hook and make it wired controller then it will but I haven't tested that yet.

There's no anti recoil, it is just a way to get mouse -like aiming on a controller, definitely way easier to control

This dose use a dongle but the connection from my testing is the same as a xbox controller no worse no better
